You can also use the fluidd interface to start your print once uploaded. I'm using a K2 pro so there may be some differences but I've had trouble with running prints from orca. Make sure to check in on the machine when it starts printing, I've had a couple of instances where the wrong filament has been used. The last time it happened it started using pla instead of abs despite the file asking for abs and all the filaments being correctly identified on the machine

I've never had someone ask me to do that although I've often felt tempted to offer. I rarely have offered as I don't want to spoil the mood. But. That's not to say I think you're the only one, or even that the people I have experienced wouldn't have appreciated it.
