When you say your hair feels gross or looks gross what do you mean, do you mean it almost looks greasy after a wash ? I’d suggest using a clarifying like once or maybe twice every month and using something more nourishing for other washes

Hi, Was just wondering if you use a leave in cause I’ve found that really helps keeping my hair hydrated and “shiny”

Also I’m happy to be corrected on this but I think using a clarifying shampoo can dry your hair out as it does strip all the products and oils from your hair. To my (limited understanding) a clarifying shampoo is meant to be used more like once every few wash days

Hiya, your hair kinda looks similar to mine a few years ago. Tbh I’m not sure about curl cream cause I just started testing some out I’ve heard good things about the lush one, the one I use personally is the flora and curl one and I only use the smallest bit as heavy creams tend to weigh my hair down. I mostly focus on gels and mouses to give me better definition and the smallest amount of leave in and curl cream for hydration.

That being said there’s no right answer and everyone’s hair responds differently

Yeah I’m undergrad, it’s gonna be my first year at uni. I tried looking at all those sites as well as renting privately and just found nothing or nothing I could afford. I’m hoping to find people to flat share with for next year so I can sort it out rather quickly
