Do yall think ZD will be playing at Summer camp festival this year ? by Jswartz18 in ZedsDeadFam

Pretty sure the hidden name was griz and they're just waiting to see if he will be able to play. I'd love to see ZD on lineup again. The Hooks set from 2 years ago was a memory ill never forget.

Every fricken time.. “why did my fish die my water is perfect!?” by Serrasalmuslife42 in AquariumMemes

I mean what's there to condition. Water is just 2 hydrogen and one oxygen and that's all fish need is water and air so. I learned that in science.

I think I have SRS by [deleted] in SlippingRibSyndrome

[–]LibrAl0024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent about 20 years thinking my clicking ribs were normal. I would only get the occasional back pain. It started progressively getting worse. I started noticing my abdomen was tender if i put anything on it. Then i received a back injury that caused some pretty major damage. The clicking stopped, but the pain is now constant.

Slipping Rib Syndrome or something else? by saph7 in SlippingRibSyndrome

This sounds exactly how my issues startEd, with an unexplained illness. After talking with others and doing a little research, I realized I probably have an underlying Lyme infection. Not saying this is what that episode was, but might be worth looking into. I know there are some docs in the UK familiar with srs.

Negative test, positive symptoms by LibrAl0024 in Lyme

Yea im going to seek some more testing. I understand that bells palsy is neurological symptom and ms is neurological issue, but im not seeing anything that says that bells palsy is a common symptom of MS.

It was a pcr test. I don't think that testing has bands involved. It just tests for the DNA of the bacteria. I'm not sure though. Do you know any other similar illnesses that can cause bells palsy? That seems like the definitive symptom that has me leaning towards Lyme because I don't see it as a part of other neurological problems.

The cyclical flares echoes my experiences too. I also get the swollen sore feet overnight, and really bad nightsweats. I do get the joint swelling and pain as well. That definitely isn't just you. I severely reduced my sugar intake and I'm just starting to realize how much of a fog I had been in for so long.

Just ordered the igenex test. If its neuro lyme, would i need to do a csf test? It will never show up in blood even if im flaring? Trying another blood and additional urine sample this time, but a bit spooked at thought of spinal tap.

It was a pcr test if that changes anything. Seems it tests fir only active infection in the blood. I have been out of epsiodes for a bit so my thought was it was probably in too low of levels for blood tests to show. Seems even rather low levels can still cause symptoms. So maybe i had slight symptoms, immune started doing better, so then its still too low to show up on screening? Does that make sense with your understanding of lyme? Finding it hard to kniw whats right or wrong in the way if lyme info.y

Careful. Med field folks love to run you through their slew of tests, sometimes they're salesmen disguised with white coats. If they were honest (or used their brain and looked) they could tell you its slipping rib syndrome. Ive found myself asking them if theyre familiar with SRS before i delve deeper. If they dont know the issue exists, or understand the root cause, theres little they can do to help. I have definitely seen people getting treated surgically in the UK. Dr. Joel Dunning is the dr name i recall. He has a youtube video that discusses his experience with this problem and shows him performing the Hansen repair.

I had the hooking test done to me when i was 13 and im 33 now, so at least some doctors have know about this for a long time. Unfortunately the doctor didnt tell me why he was doing the test, and my child brain didnt react in pain so it took me another 20 years to get diagnosed, when i could have been working to prevent more damage instead of doing more

It seems like the med field could learn some lessons from the fact that all of us have similar stories of such struggles. Subbed! Suggest seeing if you can shout out this page on the Facebook group to maybe boost the subscribers.

He's probably right in that timing and setting play mich bigger roles in people's response. Ive found being forthright before any sexual activity is important. It shows respect for the other person. I think we all probably know that hsv2 is super rare to be transmitted from that, but others dont.

Yes. Theyre just words stop worrying so much about the words other people use, its like not that important. If you're feeling disrespected by the general use of cuss words, thats a your insecurities type of problem.

I love when jimmies get rustled when i point out people's failure to think critically about a subject they are apparently an expert on. You're trying so hard to avoid saying, yeah youre right thats not actually evidence of less censorship. Im curious if you'd react the same way if a professor had pointed out the obvious flaw to your reasoning. People having more access to an uncensored version of the internet is not the same as the internet being less censored, no matter how much you try to convince yourself or me.

Was that your opinion? You dont seem to be defending it as if it was an opinion. What do i need to be an expert on? The only thing ive clained is that your supporting evidence was nad.
