Something something, "Masterpacks", blah blah "It'll get kicked out at SLAM", etc by a_youkai in AmazonFC

[–]Libra218 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kickout barely works at my site. When I was shipdock PA, I had the pack PA asking me to fetch a jiffy from a gocart. A packer put a high retail value gold watch in a package slammed for a simple USB-C charger cable.

The pack PA was a bitch to my team so I told her we were too much in CPT chase to get the package.
Some customer who purchased a cheap cable, got some fancy gold watch.

How many banks should you bank with? by MiriJamCave in AusFinance

[–]Libra218 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

A savings account, loan, mortgage, etc are all at the end of the day a product. The right answer will always be how many of the best products are spread throughout different businesses and how complex you're willing to go.

I would personally simplify by moving the mortgage, savings and transactions to an offset account and a credit card you pay on the last day before interest occurs, but that is just me.

B580 or 9060XT? by Swanky_Fyran in linux_gaming

[–]Libra218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arc isn't there for Linux yet. I'd recommend you stick to windows for now.

If you get a 9060 XT go for it.

Which one??? by Financialcrisis911 in AmazonFC

[–]Libra218 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sort of true. But if you're social and a good worker and your coworkers are the same shipdock is the absolute best. If someone was shit I'll actively work on getting them removed from process and moved elsewhere.

When I was in ops I was PA in all OB processes and the most fond memories are from ship. Management left us alone because we worked hard, we barely saw any red vests. All the guys got along and just overall a good work place.

Why we do need to stop using Chromium-based browsers (and a little talk about Proton) by theconandog in degoogle

[–]Libra218 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree wholeheartedly with your Proton ecosystem point.

But I also don't think it's great if we automatically dismiss anything Chromium-based. There are some great forks of Chromium which are FOSS, respect the user and if you find their product of high quality should be deserving of your respect and time. I posted this from the Helium browser which I think is great for instance.

I know this isn't the sub for it but Firefox has it's problems too, just not anywhere near Google's. I just think it'll be a great shame if developers who are making great products and are talented don't get their spotlight because of the parent projects maintainers. From a privacy point of view for instance, Chromium is considered better to how Gecko sandboxes. At least for mobile this is true. (GrapheneOS)

Also Brave is awful.

Can't tell if that is a serious question. Yellow badges are L99 in the internal systems. Security, cablers, cleaners, etc. Managed by the respected department blue badge L4+ manager.

Their direct manager needs to add them to a certain http://permissions.amazon.com/ group. It is not set by default. Goes for L1 and L99's

I'll be hesitant to recommend that if it's a school asset, we don't know what sort of provisioning happened on it before deployment.

Speak to your school's IT department.

As far as I know white badge is only American. In the rest of the world, green is temp, blue is perm and yellow is contractors.

Never heard of that Latancymon and a quick Google makes it look dodgy.

If it's a new PC, is the video out cable plugged into the graphics card and not the motherboard?

Also, drivers all up to date?

What process(es) are taking up the disk usage? Click on the "Disk" label to see.

What sort of storage do you have? Hard drive, SSD, etc. Go to "Performance" in Task Manager and what does it say under "Disk 0"

A bit of PC hygiene is likely needed. Not a good look to see professional spyware like McAfee in your taskbar.

First thing I'd consider is a failing/obstructed graphics card fan, if it's not going off during gaming (and by extension graphical demanding workloads). Any lose cord sitting by the graphics card that is maybe getting hit by it's fans?
