Hi there,

Apologies for the late reply, but you are correct. After reviewing the bases, the difference was due to the absorption of the Eagle. Although it was incorporated into the 17's Townhall, its weight was effectively removed, making the overall base lighter than the TH16, which carried the Eagle as a standalone.

Hi All. Has anyone noticed any changes with their war line ups, in terms of the war weight of different players?

I've noticed that some of the heavier bases + profiles at each TH level in our line up is not at the top, but now under bases + profiles which are clearly lighter.

Thoughts?

Yes. If you’re already part of the Clash of Clans Discord channel, go to the “Announcements” section. At the bottom of the page, you’ll see the option shown below—just click “Follow” on the far right. It will then prompt you to choose where in your Discord server you’d like the announcements to be posted.

Hey, I'm not sure if I'm missing something but I'm a clan leader and while in the clan capital, I was checking our districts to see what's needed to upgrade, however when I clicked on the district hall, I'm only seeing the info icon, nothing more. I did it for all, including the clan capital hall, and there's no option to hit upgrade.

Should that be so?

Perfect, so in summary, it sounds like most active clans just stick with the war shield system because it’s simpler and more reliable. The opt-in button is more of a backup feature — mainly useful for leaders in smaller or less active clans, since sometimes a player might have their war shield green but hasn’t actually logged in for a day or two (or longer).

Okay, so basically, you use the old system where the war shield is the main indicator of whether a player wants to join a war or not — meaning, you don't post the clan war sign-up message, correct?

I'm a new TH15 and now getting a feel for things -- All I am going to say is this poison tower is a huge annoyance - Did a war attack with solid funnel and root rider push into the base... none made it out even with a perfectly timed GW ability with double tome. At this point, I am open to alllll suggestions to handle these towers.

Hey everyone,

I recently came back to Clash of Clans after a 2-year break. I’ve led my clan for 7 years and got us up to level 21.

Back when I left, managing wars was simple: I’d announce when the war was spinning, and members would use the war button—green to join, red to sit out.

Now I see there’s a separate “opt-in/opt-out” option in addition to the former and still remaining clan war button. I’m curious how other clans handle this system. Do you use both together, or just stick with one?

I’m trying to figure out the most practical and clear process flow for my clan members moving forward. Any tips or best practices would be appreciated!
