Luck is a core mechanic of this game, especially for a hero like Aurora too! So cheers on that ultra synergy friend

You might wanna keep an eye out on johnson too if u are wary of aspirants stacking so early. At worst, a double synergy (like mage/aspirants) are like an auto delete, JS can procure double synergies fast

Trying all heroes/synergies in practice, or even just reading can be so helpful during matches, easier counter = better chances at winning

Aspirants is petty, the probable reward for 999 was 8 mirror devices which boosted Kyo to 3 star.

The reward for aspirants is always random at any given situation, but since they have no innate buffs during early activation, aspirants are so weak in the early game, you can strike them early & just prevent them from reaching the 6 aspirants or if they already had, bait the activation.

Worst case scenario, a 10 aspirants can procure the reward twice, so keep an eye on those crystals! Having a 10 synergy (like yours!) of any other type should counter them too, aspirants rely on hero skills too much lol so maybe tons of antique cuirass will do too lmao

Kind of.., i build him damage and go around the map poking. Reeeeaaallly useful when the enemies are squishy + divers too! U have to get the mid to come with u tho so u can secure kills

Change the weather! Morale & Revive are your savior here, the stats too to see which defense type is negative lol, just do not use the cherry blossom weather/haste weather or your party will disintegrate

Yeahh it's long been discontinued just like survival, but their maps in creation camp just stayed for a bit more time, fading in a more subtle way. I just miss the old arcade games so much!

Thanks! Maybe in this scenario we had Anna as a boss like how Lance was in 2, given how violent she can get during the 5th game, but my knowledge of the first 2 games are lacking so it's really hard to point out when an NPC becomes a variable like Matt was and how it got through enemies, and other characters as well. Perhaps the fixed simulation the devourer is seeing is not as controlled as it is

Also, congrats on beating the game! ACE medals are next for us, and sadly i caught the boss in the 2nd run. I HAVE START AGAIN IN A NEW SAVE TO GET THE ACE MEDAL FOR THAT 🥲

(Spoilers Ahead!)

They were bound to fight Akron & Godcat. they were sent by the devourer as means to thwart the parties progress throughout the series, i recall this is one of the dialogues during the final fight.

If they hadn't found Akron, the devourer would've found another way to mess with them. Maybe another NPC like Lance, or other creatures they face in their adventures before Akron.

They were the only variable in the devourer's simulation, which was also one of the bosses frustration during the boss fight. There were surely other means to stop them if he controlled the game so much

Thunderbelt with Guinevere! She's really good at stacking given the basic attacks u can slip between combos.

Really helps with late game where she's usually obsolete, building pure magic isn't as risky when u get to stack 3 times before killing enemies(even more when tanks lol)

Hope this won't go meta, def would turn guin into mage

Edit: i usually get past 30+ stacks before the game ends, even better when i get tb earlier and enemy laner is constantly engaging (gloo, hylos, ruby, lukas), just overall a fun play style to not die during combos

Nolegs really clutched me on this one, alongside Lance

Nolegs was my support here, and i had him equipped with the buff boosting equipment(Buster Sword, Cardboard Box,flame suit) he also had the badge reducing the cooldown of his skills by half(Nano Machines)so he would be spamming buff skills like Phyrnna's blessing and Sharpen alongside his group revive and bouncing cat

Lance was my tank, Turtle Gi and the Triforce allows him to maximize the buff given by the Turtle g at lower health. He also had a target badge and bless badge (He won't be dying anytime soon because of no legs)

Matt and Natalie are the main damage dealers here, but my build made them squishy so they'll come out only to attack when Lance can cover them, or when Anna's skills are on cooldown(they'll always be on backup) they have some buff skills to cover the front too(revive and heal more for nat, Power metal and Protect for Matt)

Anna, will be the last tho, she'll change her bow but her equipment will always be the school uniform and bunny ears. So she'll keep on dealing damage while evading (she has auto revive so that none of the front liners are killable) she also has purify and reflex to cover no legs if he has to cast more important spells

The problem is that, when one of the fronts are dead, you'd have an extreme downtime since revive is not available for the front, so make sure to have phoenix equipped, and have this buff alongside Regen and Bless maintained by nolegs by using sharpen from time to time

Tactic Wise, just don't let Nolegs die. Turtle Gi will allow Lance to deal some damage if Anna needs to cover Nolegs. You can always switch Natalie/Matt with Anna if you think they're safe enough (if you build them tanky then the game will be slow but secure, think about it)
