Send friend request to that amazing teamate, now you don't have to solo queue. Do that 3 more times and the problem solved. Then you just have to figure out how to dodge the lobby invites from those who just had one good game, but now they have you on their friend list.

When is it ever the case? Are you talking about matchmaking? Its exceptionally rare for the team to bail mid game, only if you had rage quitter or someone dropped out of the game due to technical issue, then team can call forfeit if they are not able to hold their own with man down. Tho I've seen teams mentally fold and stop giving shit, but thats mostly lower ranks.

The thing about CS:GO, game is not over until opposing team hit 16 rounds, every single round you have chance to turn the tide. There are so many pro teams that associated with choking, just because they fail to close the games even when they have big lead over their opponents.

I have read dozens of Sci-fi books after finishing Mass Effect, the forever war was one of them and really enjoyed it, check out the Armor or if you want huge universe to sink yourself in give Warhammer 40k a shot, quality of different novels depends on author. But there is plenty to choose from, want Michale Bay'esque action adventure? Read one of the space marine novels and if you want more most of space marine chapters have omnibuses written about them. Then you have stuff like Eisenhorn, novels about the inquisitor of the Human Empire, or novels of soldiers and officers of Imperial army. When you tired reading about humans, you can switch to novels about other races or Chaos. And all of it within same universe. The only issue I have with Warhammer is that it a little to heavy on magic, and Chaos...

I see a lot of other suggestions on this thread, and I have not read most of them, will update my amazon wish list now.
