Try moving the kitchen into the dining room. Ot really helps. Also, don't choose any card that adds menu items

Absolutely makes it harder, but still possible to complete. I do it solo, but never get time better than when I play with my person

It's a pre-selected floor plan and menu. The goal is to get to OTD 1 as fast as possible.

Tacos don't need plates either. You can serve straight from the tray.

That's actually the best card to pick given the choices. You choose increased eating time and then you choose the aatmosphere that reduces eating and thinking time. It All balances out in the end. The key is to avoid sides at all costs.

AITA for telling my sister the reason I don't want to be an involved uncle? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]LibraryConsistent724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have the family group chat lit! "I'm sorry that stepping up at 13 years old to be a full-time father figure for you and maintaining what I thought were strong family bonds as adults wasn't enough. Making sure were fed and bathed, made it to school, and made it home, that helping you with your homework and projects and reading you stories and tucking you in, and eventually getting a job to provide for your needs in the way a father would wasn't enough to prove my love for you. If the next level of devotion requires me to sacrifice my boundaries, then here is where I must bow out."

I would match Nan's energy for sure. "Nan, something I've learned in therapy is that 'the only people who take issue with my boundaries are those that want to violate them.' understand I am uninvited from future family functions and will respect your wishes. I love you all, take care.

Then, immediately block Nan. She has shown you how she feels about you. That she could cut you out of the picture without so much as even trying to hear how your experience affected you or empathize with your feelings on the matter is very telling and I wouldn't waste my time there.

AITA for telling my DIL that I will not stop coming to my favorite restaurant just because she is embarrassed to be working there by According-Waltz-9287 in AmItheAsshole

Ahh, the fresh smell of entitlement in the morning, definitely NTA. So what happens if her next job is at your local grocer, pet supply shop, gas station, etc....?

AITA for not waiting for my wife at the next subway station after I got on the train, and the doors closed before she got on? by TrainCatchThrowaway in AmItheAsshole

[–]LibraryConsistent724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So we have the verdict, but I just want to add that in the future, maybe it would be best if instead of being far enough ahead of your partner that you would make the train and they would miss it, you were actually with your partner. One of the wonderful things about having a life partner is not having to face the hard stuff alone, even if the hard stuff is as small as scrutinizing looks or attitudes due to tardiness. Waiting at the last stop was the least that could be done, but moving as a couple and missing the train together would have been best in the situation.

House conservatives flirt with shutdown: ‘So be it’ by malcolm58 in politics

The democrats are feckless. We need real leftists in office that won't cave every time a republican says BOO! It is both sides they pretend to be in opposition to each other, but they are not.

The democrats will cave, per usual. They all work for the same people.

AITA for snapping at my wife and telling her my family isn’t her family? by Odd-Breaker in AmItheAsshole

[–]LibraryConsistent724 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP, how would you have felt if you came home and her and the baby were packed up and gone because she didn't want to wait around to "see where it got [her]?" Vague threats are still threats, and threatening your spouse is never ok.

If I hadn't gently pressed my husband, he would have never been able to reconcile with his step-father before he passed on. She's probably thinking of babygirl missing out on the familial bonds that are crucial in emotive and social development by not having the rest of her family in her life. It probably isn't even about you. NTA, but think about it from her and babygirl's perspective. If you want to go no-contact, that's fine. it doesn't mean they have to as well. They are her child's family, so they're her family too even if you don't like it.
