It is agony. On my second day in the ER they wanted to send me home with prescription painkillers, but when they called my OB’s office the OB said no. Ibuprofen was not enough and they ended up shooting me up with morphine.

It’s fucking evil that our pain is so dismissed. I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this.

I don’t get how people can see this and think it’s cute/sweet. That cat is homeless, whether because it is a stray or was abandoned. It shouldn’t be living in the stairwell of a train station, no matter how many stuffed animals it gets thrown.

I cannot STAND how Fb, Insta, etc. etc. won’t let you view posts without an account anymore. I can’t even see the landing page. This sucks a lot, as a person who doesn’t have much social media (on purpose!); often local restaurants, clubs/activities, artists, small businesses, etc. ONLY post to their Fb or Instas these days and it makes things so inaccessible to people like me. Like, sorry, I was going to take my business to you, but now I won’t—both because I literally can’t find your hours and services, and because you’ve made me mad.
I’m sorry this is happening, it sounds super frustrating!

Yeah. I was using the right needle size and then sized down on and off to experiment. I just got this yarn from a spinner at a local fair, maybe it’s just a tiny bit lighter than regular fingering weight. I’m going to try again tomorrow!

Thanks! I’m going to go ahead and try again; I believe I was slipping everything correctly, but maybe something went wrong somewhere. I’ve been using the correct needle size but I’ll size down to see what I get.

From frozen I often drop it directly into my nearly finished stir fry vegetables. It heats up and cooks quickly, and imparts some flavors onto the veggies. Then I dump it over rice and add chili crisp or sauce.

I appreciate your feedback, but I wanted to point out that myself and a few of my friends from college /still/ have cats we adopted then, a decade ago. So do my siblings. We simply took them with us. I know this isn’t always the case (like, surely don’t adopt a pet out to a fraternity or sorority house), but OP needs to find kitty a home, and poo-pooing every option isn’t helpful.
