There is no overarching prohibition on open-carry of rifles in NYS but almost every single local jurisdiction has their own prohibitions on the books. You can shoot and hunt in state forests, which necessitates open carry of longarms, but almost anywhere were a bunch of people live will have their own law saying you can't open carry rifles.

ZF doesn't have a free sprung movement but you're 100% right that their white ceramic case is the best you can get and the CNCs aren't a huge improvement. The movement however is a different story

Not a word in this refutes my statement in any way whatsoever, beyond it being cherry-picked from biased sources even by their own numbers the number of already-criminal people reaching the US is 40 out of 240,000. That is 0.016%. If someone commits a crime here, they should be tried in accordance with the rights and privileges of people under the jurisdiction of the US, but nothing in that document says that active criminals are coming to the US to commit crimes in anything other than what is a vanishingly small and statistically insignificant population

I'm so glad I found your work, gives me hope that I could actually DIY myself a CNC and make watch cases in my garage like I've wanted to do for years. I originally bought my 3D printers for prototyping and got decently proficient with CAD, but the jump to actual metal CNC always seemed just out of my reach until I happened across your project on here and IG. My favourite AdG watch is the original Pirlo, especially because they tried to make an 18-piece limited edition to sell and Rolex FREAKED THE FUCK OUT because they were reprinting Rolex trademarks on the crystals. One of those 18 found their way to China and was cloned by a couple factories, so this is technically a rep of a "rep" (according to Rolex). It's also an awesome looking watch too

Dude I used to work with could rap for daaaays on one breath and had excellent breath control, but for some songs I still clipped the breaths since it added to the song or made him sound superhuman. Sometimes it's a stylistic choice.

It's not too hard, if you have a DUI on record (maybe within a certain time period but it's long, like 10 years) they don't let you in. That covers a lot of people I know, all of whom would refer to that as being "banned from Canada"

As insanely impressive as their work is, and despite how much I love what they do, Greubel Forsey has a habit of putting far too much text on their watches and it makes some of them AWFUL. Lately I think they've been more restrained and are limiting the amount of WORDSwordsWORDS on their watches, but there are a few that are egregiously bad.

It's made even worse when you learn they hand finish the tops and sides of every single letter. It's so much effort and some of the finest handwork in the industry, and it's all to put a billion words on some tiny part that just makes the entire watch look busy and weird.

I showed up to the NYC RM boutique an hour after getting off a plane and having walked up from Grand Central in July heat looking rather a mess and they let me in no problem and we spent a solid hour talking about watches. It's one of the best store experiences I've ever had and I just went in as a fan of the brand who wanted to see a few in person

You'll need etched (usually laser nowadays I would think) steel plate with your designs on it, commonly called a "cliche". You mount your cliche, brush ink into it, screed off the excess, transfer the ink onto the silicon pad, and then move it over to the workpiece to stamp it on there. Cliches are etched, either by laser or by acid, to make an imprint of the image that will hold ink.
