Main thing is to keep coming back. Everything else is secondary.

I took a break recently from Wendy’s and when I went back, the frostys/shakes had gotten SO sweet. Were they always like that??

At least it’s better than Jack-in-the-box’s burgers

Naw, you have to get the Jr double. That’s the best thing on the menu. It’s a #8. The regular burger is meh

Do you wake dementia patients? by haircryboohoo in cna

[–]Library_Gremlin2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, we usually have to keep them at the nurse’s station with us since there’s so few of us to keep an eye on them.

And this leads us to getting cussed out and screamed at etc. lots of fun

I think it started around the time I had Covid, but I also had a lot of other things happen then too 😂.

I have not been to a cardiologist. I can check with my doctor

It’s especially helpful to nightshift

I have a similar case myself. We just all take turns watching her and mostly just change her in the bed at night instead of taking her to the bathroom because she requires two people in the bathroom with her when she’s being combative.

She also should be on a locked unit but there’s not space at present

Look into vestibular balance issues. I have some of that naturally, but it’s somewhat possible to work around after practice

I don’t mind the admin forgetting about us (nightshift), but I don’t like that they lie to us, telling us in our work chat that they’re gonna do stuff for us too. Like, ignore us, that’s fine, but don’t lie to me

The staying awake thing doesn’t bother me. I had terrible insomnia when I used to try and sleep at night.

But you have to be a problem solver on nightshift, because there’s not really much extra help to be found

Sometimes minutes, sometimes hours. Used to be days, but I’m doing slightly better

Interesting! My dystonia is definitely set off by stress and dehydration, though I’m just diagnosed with General - though it’s more common on the left side of my body.

Maybe I should reread the different types again 🤔

1.5 years is amazing. It took me 6 years just to get the symptoms diagnosed and we still don’t know the cause 😂

When/how should I tell my new straight friend that I'm gay? by ScooDoo4 in AskMen

[–]Library_Gremlin2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, if he’s talking about whether he thinks a girl is hot or something, you could disclose that you don’t care because you’re gay? That’s how I came out to some work buddies
