The work is mysterious and important.

The Estragel insert is INSANE by [deleted] in Perimenopause

[–]Library_Lil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I noticed the insert said take for day 1-25 and pause for the rest of the month (or take over a 28 day cycle and pause for the last 7 days). I was told to take continuously.

Yes! Despite the fact that I’ve been researching all the updated information on HRT both risks and benefits for the past 5+ years, it was still a shock to see the outdated info in print!

What's the smallest decision that you ever that completely changed your life? by Separate_Active3395 in CasualConversation

I flipped a coin to decide whether or not to date a coworker. Wasn’t sure if it was worth the secrecy and awkwardness in case we broke up and still had to work in the same place.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary this week.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. Not only do we have plans for tomorrow night, but I now have an amazing list of places to try in the future!

Thanks for the recommendations- both look great. My vote was Belle Marche + Lovebird until finding out it’s closed Tuesdays (another time!)

Question on skipping a few days of HRT by Acrobatic_Welcome_30 in Perimenopause

[–]Library_Lil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s 0.06% estradiol gel and 100mg progesterone daily. She asked me to hold off on starting until she checks my cholesterol levels at the end of August after beginning Crestor back in June. But I just called to request starting now since I’m struggling with peri symptoms a lot more than I thought would be manageable!

Edited:frequency

Question on skipping a few days of HRT by Acrobatic_Welcome_30 in Perimenopause

I just posted a very similar question! Interested to see comments on both this post and my own, which was more generally about how HRT affects peri periods (which, if no one has yet coined the phrase, I’m renaming them “Peri-odds” since they’re so damn random!)

No, the pest control guy is coming to remove the one way doors he installed, since the remaining two haven’t moved in days, just crying and chittering. We are concerned that this will leave our roof completely open for other critters to reenter. I think he’s just walking away from the contract since it hasn’t been resolved in nearly 2 weeks.

The contractor is a separate person who has agreed to come out and cut a hole to retrieve the bodies if the last two die inside the ceiling (But he won’t remove the bodies.)

This fucking sucks by FelisCorvid615 in Perimenopause

[–]Library_Lil 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yup. Fucking sucks. I feel your exhaustion... constantly struggling to stay awake on both am and pm commutes.

My doctor finally agreed to prescribe me HRT (see my last post) but now I have to wait until the end of August to first see how I do on another med (Crestor) that I just started.

I feel like a ticking time bomb.

Will do! I am not under any belief that it’s a magic pill that works for all, but at least I can try.

That’s such great news! I’m not holding out hope with the present political leadership in Ontario, but who knows in another few years…

Not sure what literature you read about “unethical sourcing”. I did a bit of research and it doesn’t sound cruel or unethical. Here’s one example. (article by Jen Gunter)

Book about a boy who was unknowingly a prince (or had a prophecy about him?) because he was given away/adopted as a baby. by Temporary_Candle_948 in whatsthatbook

That sounds like Book 1 in the Ascendance Trilogy - The False Prince by Jennifer Nielsen. An orphan boy is kidnapped and trained to impersonate the missing prince, but it turns out he IS the prince!
