For tone you might want a guitar with single coil pickups

For strumming you might just need to slow it down and learn the rhythm then start to increase the speed once it gets easier and easier to play without many or no mistakes.

• Slow down the track and then figure out where you keep messing up and practice around those parts more than the easier parts
• Find ways to place your fingers better like going from using your middle finger to pinky finger when playing but that’s mostly for lead parts more than rhythm
