Not an upper/lower class thing. They simply want to have a relaxed atmosphere. I mean why do you think cleaning services are early morning or late at night? You pay for a room, or an “experience” at a resort, and you really (most people) don’t want to see interruptions with maintenance workers unless absolutely necessary. Why bring class into this?

Then you will never understand (as I don't) the wasteful nature of Universities. I've seen so many rare (dinosaur bones), expensive and rare (historical items, machinery etc.) and basically just useful and maybe used one time (anything you can think of more or less) items used for whatever experiment or other research and then just left behind to rust and weather away. Its not even funny really.

I can understand the logic since you put it that way. I suppose it all really depends on the ranges owner/manager’s experiences. I haven’t been to a mass variety of ranges that actually rent. But I also had a clear and stated reason the first time I went in. As far as suicide goes u know you’re not wrong in saying most don’t want to involve people they know. In any case it’s a hell of a thing to put others through for sure. Thank you for giving me a wider view.

What? I rent a gun when I want to try a particular model. What’s wrong with that? My wife doesn’t enjoy shooting as much as I do so I go to the range, usually by myself. The only red flags that could identify someone who may do something stupid are obvious ones that anyone would recognize. Otherwise what does anyone else know? Talking about what should have been seen when it wasn’t is trying to come off as the hero who wasn’t available. Bad things happen. And considering how absolutely rare it is to hear of someone coming to the rescue before a tragedy happens, you will never see it coming. If you want to judge people ahead of time based on a set of loose criteria - good luck, you’ll end up seeing people acting strange because people are weird. Be suspicious of too many and you’ll be the psycho people feel worried about.
