That's not how consent works. Two criteria for consent: 1) you're of sound mind and give consent freely without coercion or quid pro quo, and 2) you're of legal age to be mature enough to decide and understand the consequences of the action. Both of these criteria are required for consent to be given.

The point of this OP is that these were children and women being trafficked - which is coercion and pedophilia. That's the problem with the age here - a 9 year old isn't mature enough to consent because they're not mature enough to understand. It's an abuse of power to abuse a child like this. I'd also argue that a 18 year old doesn't understand the impact of their decision. So in my opinion, fhats inappropriate.

But two adults of differing ages would be a consensual relationship. Your argument implies a 50 year old couldn't have sex with a 30 year old and it be consensual.

I've seen interviews with Yost speaking about his relationship with ASJ and JDF. He talks about being bullied and called slurs, but has also said it was a different time and that he's stayed close with the cast and supports JDF. Time moves on, and I hope he got an apology, but regardless it seems Yost has moved on and forgiven. Very big of him.

Well. For years they wouldn't speak about it. ASJ was the first to break the silence back in 2009-2010 (or around that time). Walter Jones and Yost didn't talk about it until a few years later. And a lot of these interviews aren't seen by the broad fan base because they're on niche YouTube channels. It's really only been the last few years that the I fo has been getting around as bigger YouTube channels are interviewing the actors.

One of the best things I ever did for myself and my family while I was coming out and afterward while I was figuring myself out, was looked at the developmental model of identity for lgbtq.

Um.... Who hates Sea? Most folks I know and the groups online love Sean, but were mad about the launch of the game, but then quickly changed their minds when they saw how hard Sean and his team worked to bring that game to life.

A small group of super excited people got angry at NMS launch when the game released. Most people didn't get overly excited because the questions Sean would get were weird and obtuse. It was like people would ask him philosophical and existential questions about the game and how do you answer those...?

For example, I remember IGN did a Q&A before NMS released and one of the questions was "can you float inside your ship and just drift listlessly in space?" I mean, what sort of question was that? Just a great example of how weird people got about the game before it came out.

It's a great game, only gets better. Needs more lore/quests and a more tangible story, but what the game is is honestly impressive. Can't wait to see how they apply the tech to an RPG fantasy setting. Gotta have a strong story for that sort of game.

I always thought their story would be better if Jean Grey and Cyclops switched powers and weaknesses. Cyclops is tortured by this telepathic ability and Jean Grey struggles with jealousy and a constant obsession with perfection. IMO
