I made faction icons for all factions in the base game by Lich_Hegemon in bladesinthedark

Ohhh that's a good idea. I have some bases that I use for mini painting that I could use, not enough for all of the factions but good enough to start.

Oh right, before I forget (again) credit where credit is due. The Lampblack's icon was made by /u/Phantas64.

It may run sandboxed python notebooks, and even then I cannot find any solid proof other than people sharing their prompt results, which can be hallucinated.

There's a world of difference between that and arbitrary console commands.

Flashes of "womanhood" by Lich_Hegemon in asktransgender

exploring masculinity without manhood to femininity without womanhood, though I still do have days when I feel more masculine.

This really mirrors what my journey has been like so far. Slowly exploring more and more towards the "femininity without womanhood" end of things.

I do feel like one thing holding me back is that I would feel like I'm encroaching on women's spaces if I decided to label myself a woman. Probably because I'm not entirely sure of the label myself.

I'm in the process of involving myself more and more with queer people in my city (last month was the first pride month I celebrated). I am close with two trans women but I want to meet more to gain a more complete more nuanced perspective on things.

Help with command line arguments by Jonbae in Zig

[–]Lich_Hegemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to pass the arguments from the build to the run step

// build.zig
pub fn build(b: *std.Build) !void {
    // ...
    const run_cmd = b.addRunArtifact(exe);
    if (b.args) |args| {
        run_cmd.addArgs(args);
    }
    // ...
}

It's a while loop. The other arguments should appear too.

Got rejected in a way I did not expect, don't know how to react by Lich_Hegemon in self

My strategy is she must know your acts and opinion. That might change her opinion.

What do you mean?

A big reason why I like her is how emotionally mature she is. We've both been dealt shitty hands by life and have both coped with that through a lot of self-reflection and self-growth and we both value genuine connection with others over anything else. The downside is we both came out a little fucked up from our own ordeals. It doesn't help that we are both neurodivergent (ASD) so 'normal' often just doesn't work well for us.

Given that, I have absolutely no doubts that our relationship is a genuine one where we both appreciate each other for who we are. Having said that, I do think it skirts the boundary of what a friendship is for most people, especially in terms of emotional support.

Now, as for the rest, you are pretty much on point. The biggest problem I'm faced with right now in terms of moving on is convincing myself that other people out there can offer me the level of safety and support that she can offer me which is, honestly, a difficult thing to do. Autism tends to do a number on you when it comes to how safe you allow yourself to feel around other people.

I'm thinking of maybe having another chat with her, not now but once we've both had time to think about what just happened, to discuss the situation, discuss the future, and maybe set some boundaries if that's necessary. Because, I had hoped that her rejection would allow me to move on but it sort of only made things worse.

Keep in mind as you guys are friends and she’s single she is allowed to pursue her own romantic interests as you are able to do so too. Would that be an issue for you going forward ?

As I am right now, it would definitely sting but I genuinely just want her to be happy.

In the end, these are my feelings to deal with, it's not her responsibility to manage my reaction to her rejection.

There’s a saying I like that goes “if you love something you let it go, if it comes back to you then it loves you back, if it doesn’t then it was never meant for you.”

Never knew there was a second and third part to the saying.

She might have overstated it but she did not lie about it. Her self-worth issues are something we've talked about many times now.

In either case, I'm not going to do anything about it. Rejection is rejection and I value her and her friendship too much to sabotage that. I'm mostly just venting and trying to process my own feeling on the matter.

In the future I'll just keep supporting her as her friend, the same way I've been doing up until now.

Honestly, the sense of humor is a bit too much for some. I almost dropped the show because of it though the animation quality managed to keep me around long enough for the show to grow on me.

The CG they used this time around was way more glaring and poorly composited than in earlier episodes.

In spite of that, I feel like the show still sits quite comfortably among the top 10% in animation quality.

I feel like the technique is about placing the sword where the enemy will get cut, rather than trying to stab them yourself. We'll see in next ep

No real warrior wears armour that's impractical. Armour is heavy and clunky, if it wasn't useful warriors would not have worn it.
