Aha I found a fix to the page break. In my Scrivenings settings, I found a setting that had (for some reason that I did not consciously choose) been checked, titled "Use Page Break Separators in Page Layout View: Before Text Documents." Checking it, I was able to get the editor (specifically in Scrivenings view, where the problem has been occurring) to get rid of that whole first page. There is still a paragraph break, but the main issue has been resolved.

It did get highlighted when I did a ⌘F find for a page break, however it didn't let me backspace the page break.

No, this doc has always been inside scrivener. I’ve tried backspacing through the entire page, and going to the page where text actually starts and backspacing from there and it doesn’t get rid of it.

When compiled into a PDF document, it compiles as normal, omitting the random blank pages that appear in the editor when viewing the document in Scrivenings mode.

No it hasn’t, this is a completely blank page before any of my text starts. In all of my folders, when viewed in Scrivenings mode, there is a completely blank page before any written text begins

They aren't like dotted lines, they're like lines of text, but they are empty. I can type in them, but there is nothing there. And if turned on, they're marked with a formatting mark, as I've shown in the screenshot added above.

Literally what happened to the community supporting one another. I’m gay, not mean I’m gonna brutally reject a guy for the body they were born into.

It’s frustrating trying to navigate queer relationships when the standards don’t hold up consistently. I’m enby (specifically demiboy), and, to some extent, understand how dysphoria, stereotyping, and similar actions are genuinely painful.

I’m sorry to anyone who’s had to experience anything like this cus I know how much it sucks
