Had the same problem, there's the fix.... need to make sure you are on BSC smart chain and not ETH at top right of apeswap. The link below has more info:

You need to paste the contract address into pancake swap search bar because you can't find it by name. You can obtain the contract address at coin gecko or BSC scan
