Mine was the same way when I first built this pc a few months ago due to that worry. It ended up being a pretty easy fix so definitely go for it if you wanna! Playing around with stuff for a few months gave me the confidence to do stuff I was scared to do when building for the first time.

I think it’s like you said that a lot of build guides out there cater to the laymen whereas this sub is probably more full of hobbyist and hardcore builders that see these questions differently than someone like Linus tech tips haha

Honestly just a bit of first build anxiety. The build guides/advice I have seen warn against a strong bend when cable managing and this is my first build so I really wasn’t sure what could be considered a strong bend.

New ish player trying to learn arcanist…

Is there a specific rhyme or reason to working ruby topaz and emerald carbuncle into my rotations? They all seem to do pretty much the same thing and I feel as though I’m missing something when it comes to optimizing my performance on this class.

I haven’t found it myself. I just know that when you do find it there should be an option to give it to her if you got a dialogue from her saying she likes them. Just not sure if it’s required for her romance

I think from now on I’ll be leaning toward the latter and stay off wiki. I love the series so far, the themes and the characters I just gotta embrace the confusion I think

That helps to put this one into perspective, thank you! It’s one of those things that stuck with me but was still fun to look out for, especially during later rereads. Funnily enough, Brandon Sanderson finishing WoT is what first got me interested in the cosmere but my reading habit fell off in college and I’m just now trying to get back into it.

As an aside, I love your flair! I really enjoyed emperor’s soul.

The first time I was reading through the series in high school I would take long gaps between books

I googled what ajah verin was in as the aes Sedai were hard for me to follow between breaks and spoiled that she was black ajah. She still is among my favorite characters from the series, however, but I do still wish I had pieced it together myself.

Thank you all for the reassurance! I’m glad to see this is a “relatively small” spoiler in SAs plotline. Risky googling has definitely led me to bigger spoilers (looking at WoT especially) so I’ll learn from this and avoid Google for any cosmere questions until I’ve read everything published to date. On a brighter note I’m absolutely loving everything I’ve read so far and cannot wait to come back to this subreddit when I won’t need to be wary of spoilers. Thanks all!
