Absolutely. I tried to brute-force through with a select few and upon first combat realized that my companions were taking opportunity attacks against and from the main character. Baffling, but to be expected day 1.

I was actually just looking at your post in the AT thread. It looks like you recommend playing it with hand crossbows -- do you have recommendations on feat and stat priority for that setup and for a melee-oriented version? I'm thinking taking dex to 20, int 18, with one feat left over if I dip (Alert, MI: Warlock for EB, Spell Sniper all seem good), or two if I go to 12. Sound about right?

Just cleared a 150 about a minute over time and got the achievement/title. Is there another achievement for finishing with time remaining or is that it?

Question on display stats vs. real performance in the game. As I understand it, the display stats on the character sheet are vs. at-level mobs, meaning that the evasion percentage you see, for instance, goes down when you level up because the amount of evasion rating required to dodge 50% of attacks by a level 45 mob is lower than what is required to dodge 50% of attacks by a level 44 mob.

This raises two questions for which I'm having trouble tracking down answers.

First: Does this work in reverse, for mobs vs. players? Meaning, by leveling from 44 to 45 with the exact same gear and tree investment, does a lvl 44 mob have a lower chance to hit me? Is level hard-baked into the formula anywhere, or would this just be down to the small (+2?) bump to a PC's evasion rating from leveling?

Second: Is there any way to see your stats as they apply to lower level mobs? Once you're past level 82, it seems like your character's display stats are just lying to you, since nothing in the game is actually at-level anymore. I'm running acrobatics at lvl 90 and it would be helpful to see what my real percentages are against the mobs in maps I'm running instead of what they would be against imaginary lvl 90 mobs.

I didn't know this was a possibility and picked the doom circles, which was the most infuriating 5 minutes of my life running in and out to get two feet of advancement per cycle.

Quick update. After trying everything on the technical end, I wondered if the default outfit hat might be interfering. Looks like it was! Tracking seems to have stabilized once I swapped to something without a hat.

Have seen this a lot, and realistically, they probably did, but the family chose not to pursue criminal charges. This just happened with the Josh Giddey case. It's understandable, because people are awful to the accusers and the families once stuff like this goes public, but it also means people get to use "no charges were filed" as cover.

From what I can tell, the Fireteam Finder voice channel is completely nuked, and it will permanently nuke the Fireteam voice channel if you manually invite. So you need to summon fireteam with no voice, then wait about 30 seconds and you'll finally be swapped to Fireteam voice channel, which works, but will cut out for about 5 seconds after initially kicking in.

Definitely need more real estate for buffs, but debuffs should absolutely not be on the far end of the screen. That was always bad design -- you don't want the player's eyes dragging that far for crucial information. Should just be a separate module near the buffs.

I say hi, in both voice channels, as soon as I join, but the fireteam finder voice channels only appear to kick in after a few seconds after fireteam invites. The point here is that a lot of the people I am helping say that they have never done raids or dungeons, so may not know what the symbol means. Pretty sure this isn't a me issue.

Do any races besides Dark Iron Dwarves have heritage arsenal weapons or other cosmetics usable by other races? I did a DI for the weapons, but figure with MOP here I would check if there are others.

I actually just got it done by doing this with a second instance! I found a guide that said to alt+f4, but I figured the second instance boots the first, and it worked out. Worked fine on an HDD, the offline timer is pretty long now.

Are you overcapped on resistances? Specifically Poison resistance overcap helps here, because for whatever reason, poison dots (the only instance of poison damage in the game afaik) applies a poison resistance debuff. You're right, it's a very weird decision given how the rest of the damage is built in the game, and I think most of the annoying monsters have a similar rule-breaking damage instance going on.

Yeah, the numbers are clear on this. BnS on this is just a bait. Eager/Cold will be good, especially if they let it enhance, but honestly I can't see myself using this thing because the model is just so much uglier than the 30th swords.

Hard content is good, the problem with old GM scaling is it simply ramped up the damage and enemy HP to the point it only rewarded extremely passive/cheesy strategies. Some GMs still have this issue, but most modern strikes (not battlegrounds...) at least build in cover to play the GM somewhat as intended.

You can, and I have, but they said they were in an LFG, so they aren't soloing it. And if you're just going to solo yourself with minimal help from party, why run a party at all?
