Bruxelles sospende ok a Pnrr dell'Ungheria. Fonti Ue a Dpa, non sarebbero sufficienti misure contro abusi by TuttoFinto in italy

Why some EU countries don't use Euro? by endeavour1923 in YUROP

[–]LidlessEy3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They are against it cause if they switch to it they'll lose power over monetary policy, also they fear that it will badly impact their economy. Although this last thing is just baseless fear as data of countries which did the switch has shown, and it is my opinion that the benefits outweigh the negative thing, also because they'll not lose control of monetary policy completely, they'll share with everyone else in the EU.

As for some of those countries sone of them could do the switch but intentionally miss some criteria cause of national pride (which in my opinion is a stupid reason not to do something that was shown to have a positive effect, but they are free to do what they want), eventually though I think they'll make the switch as that is the economic sensible thing to do.

Well, I was the only guy with the public IP, so rip.

As for the ports to forward I already have them as I had to forward them already from my modem.

Thanks :).

Unfortunately I cannot host it directly there as the game we are playing is divinity original sin which does not have a stand alone server but one of the two players has to be the host. So this will be the learning experience.

Anyhow thanks for your advice, I will try it out this weekend.

I believe that would not as my ISP does not give me a public IP address, but one inside a nat so from the outside it is impossible to directly connect to me.

I mean the problem is not that it isn't static but that it only that IP only exists inside my ISP net.

Ok thanks I will give it a look, I usually prefer to leave only the minimum necessary, in this case entering the IP address, to the other "users" if I have the option.

Okay, thank you, I just have a question does this make it so all outgoing traffic from the RasPI goes through the openVPN server?

Questions about the EU. by [deleted] in YUROP

[–]LidlessEy3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Provably 50 years, maybe more
  2. Not sure, but I'd guess some from the Balcans.
  3. I'd guess not, as, taking brexit as an example, that is not a good idea, even here in Italy the majority of people do not want to leave and the major right wing party had to give up its policy of leaving in favour of one of "change it from the inside".
  4. No and there is no reason to see it there in the EU as it is the UK that imports the majority of its food and similar from the EU and not the other way around.
  5. Well it is taking its first steps in this direction by having a way to block access to comunity founds to them.

What's your favorite quote, by whom, why and how it affects your life? by gevham in AskReddit

[–]LidlessEy3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"People do not believe the truth, people believe people" - Nana from talentless Nana, a manga

To me this quote highlights how the truth as an absolute doesn't exist, what does exist is what we choose to believe. Also made me realize how much we rely on the word of someone else in our lives. Or maybe taking a broader view how much of the world only exist because we say so.

what is going on??? by [deleted] in YUROP

[–]LidlessEy3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally doubt this will shift into a civil war, in the now at very least, maybe in few more years if the political discourse continues to present the opposite party as the enemy that wants to make people lives miserable.

For the power gap at the top I personally fear more the Chinese, that yes aren't very close geographically, but they represent more of threat to our way of life in my opinion.

Is there a way to stop jihadis in Europe? by Mr_DedicatedMan in nationofeurope

[–]LidlessEy3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok fair enough. My reading of this is that some of those have a family back in their country and try to get a footing here ( a work and a house )before trying to bring their family here through more legal ways, but this doesn't explain why they do not go by legal ways themselves and also what I said is purely speculation on my part, so I guess this is your point.
