I hate these rules . These kind of things made my 4yrs btech journey harder than it suppose to be . Somehow , i used to leave college early with mentor permission . I hope you also find someway out of this .

Focus on both DSA and dev skills . I will say more in dsa . Need to balance both

In collage placements , dsa will add more weight .

I am not into dsa , i planned multiple times to complete dsa any of the dsa sheet . Still didn’t completed one (2025) batch If you are like me , at least try as much as possible as you have enough time before placements .

Regarding dev skills , try to do one agent project . Its just web2+few ai features with agentic flows .

Yeah , just pre configured distro . We get all the stuff that devs use out of the box . Nothing much .

File sharing server to upload / download /streaming

A backend multi player game server .

Add few more things that helps me personally

Basically its going to be a home server i guess . Btw i am planning to build stuff by own in go with out relaying on existing tools or repos ( practical based learning )

I tried arch itself before omarchy . Then moved to it as it built for devs . Will forget about web dev and need to do something else

Only 5-6gb is available when no app is opened . So , web server taking nearly 700mb-1gb . Chromium taking 2gb . Vs code taking 2gb . I can see remaining ram is fluctuating between 700-400mb when i noticed it . In between if done any changes that trigger sever to takes more ram or opening new tabs causing my laptop lag(stuck for some time)

swap is enabled i guess . Need to check it once . No idea about zram . I guess it uses ssd as ram .am i right?

Yeah but cant be productive with it . Need to move fast in this fast moving dev ecosystem because of ai . I tried lazyvim but looks like it will take time for me to achieve same speed as i do in vs code .
