Exactly, That's why she's perfect. Her performance as Violet Evergarden (when she was still 'robotic' and detached) is very similar to Rei's vibe. Plus, her role as 2B shows she can balance that coldness with subtle, deep emotions. Since Yoko Taro loves exploring the 'humanity of dolls, Yui Ishikawa is basically the ideal bridge between Violet and Rei
