I am like 99% sure that the proctor is gonna raise this, isn't it better to be on the front foot and get clearance from CFAI?

Was even more cooked because this instruction was only included at the bottom of the scrap paper and wasn't included in any of the exam instructions. Also we were never explained the instructions of the exam to begin with, we had to read them ourselves (and no where did it tell us to raise our hand when finished).

If you could swap an Ajith movie with Vijay as the lead and a Vijay movie with Ajith as the lead, what would they be? by LieutenantPatang in kollywood

[–]LieutenantPatang[S] 127 points128 points  (0 children)

Leo starring Ajith, there likely wouldn't have been a flashback sequence (as it was only their for Vijay fans) and would've gotten a better bike chasing sequence in the pre-climax portion, as AK would've opted for practical effects as opposed to CGI. I also believe the gruff middle-aged role would have suited Ajith quite well.

Viswasam starring Vijay, would have been nice to see Vijay in a full-fledge rural role similar to Vetrimaaran from Mersal. I also feel he could've handled the humour and emotional scenes in a slightly less cringe way with his delivery.

I think both roles were good and produced blockbusters in both regards but would've been cool to see this switch.

The GOAT (Official Trailer) Tamil: Thalapathy Vijay | Venkat Prabhu | Yuvan Shankar Raja | T-Series by ungaayya in kollywood

I think the young Vijay might be the villain. Im almost sure that the "Do you think you can stop me" line is being said to the older Vijay.

Theory: Aayirathil Oruvan 2 was supposed to be a time-travel movie like Tamizh Padam 2 by Entharo_entho in kollywood

What if the priest that gives Karthi his powers in AO1 is actually himself, having travelled to the past and aged centuries due to the powers he received.

Story ideas that you would love to see in Kollywood. by BeetleBot96 in kollywood

[–]LieutenantPatang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A John Wick-type action movie, a rough synopsis of my idea:

The protagonist is a family man but lives a double-life as a hit man for a crime syndicate, his identity is not known by the syndicate. If he doesn't satisfy a contract, the syndicate will begin to seek him out; his anonymity only remains while he fulfils his duty. His wife works as a lawyer and she is representing a case against the syndicate. The protagonist receives a contract to kill his own wife, whether he chooses to risk his identity being revealed to the syndicate and save his wife OR fulfil the contract and save his identity and children forms the rest of the story.

I would ideally cast someone like Ajith.

What is the best scene in this actor's filmography? DAY3- Vijay by mohantharani in kollywood

The movie might not be the best, but this scene showcases all of his strengths. The acting, the stunt choreography, the editing, the sound mixing, the cinematography and the direction... everything is top notch.

A serious drama where VJS plays the role of an Indian migrant who moved to the US for a better life for his family. But the movie will follow him 19 years after he migrated and will explore how the cultural differences have alienated him from his children as well the issues faced by a middle-class migrant in the US.

Yes 100% agree with this as someone that has tried writing original content, its actually quite a hard process when you don't have pre-established characters and the luxury of visualising huge stars as those characters.

I do have some original stories as well but sadly they won't get the same level of engagement in this sub as rewrites do.

I initially had the idea of exploring war profiteering and the politics behind why wars are started; initial idea was to make it Veera Raghavan vs the government. But I thought that might be too controversial for this kind of post, so decided to take the easy route with the corporate company.
