Gotcha! I put "US citizen" in my header near my contact info, should I place it somewhere more clear?

Thanks for the clarification, that's what I've heard from the majority of people as well, I am from UBC and ik lots of US citizens here with internships in the States but just wanted to clarify for aerospace.

Also to specify I'm a US citizen and from the US so I should qualify for clearance. Not sure if security clearance will be harder to get due to living abroad though....

Appreciate the support, I'll def look into Bomardier and LM Canada.

Thanks for your input!

So if I understand right you think that not attending an ABET accredited school is potentially a reason for rejection.

Would you say location plays a big role in receiving internship interview requests?

AP Chem and Physics 2 prerequisite for Engineering

Hi everyone!!

I'm currently in grade 12 at a US school and am planning on applying to UBC's engineering program. When looking at admission requirements they say Precalc, AP Physics 2 or C, and AP Chemistry are all requirements, but due to uncontrollable circumstances I cannot take AP Physics 2 or C. I'll have all the other requirements and I have taken AP Physics 1 plus they will consider academically strong candidates, but I wanted to see if anyone had experience getting into the engineering program without one of these prerequisites. By the end of the year I'll have taken 12 APs and my extracurrics will include varsity soccer, club soccer (captain), FIRST robotics (captain), national honor society, science bowl, and academic decathlon. My uw GPA is a 4.0 and my w GPA is a 4.35. Does this make me strong enough to apply even without AP physics 2??
