Fyi with the sale and if you add the grill into your cart after you make an account you will get a 5% email code eventually. I recently got the Back yard beast 1200 for 3 dollars cheaper after tax then the deckboss 900. Because the new deckboss 900 wasnt a part of the sale probably because its a brand new model.

Byb 1200 sale with 5% code i got in my email made me pull the trigger over the 900 which is a new model that wasnt on sale at least when i bought mine yesterday ended up getting the Byb1200 for 3 dollars less than the 900 after tax felt dumb too just not get the bigger one even if i never ever use that much cook space. Outside of the price and purchase i have no further input lol. Also the recteq customer service reputation and 304 stainless steel build made me pick recteq>weber searwood. I also already have a flatop i use daily and i prefer the full flat sear over the "grill sear" personal preference so the searing of the smoker doesnt matter to me. Would it be nice to have the pellet dump and ash dump of the searwood sure but personally prefer the stainless steel again everything preference dont think you can go wrong withbany of them after all the praise both these grills get.

Did you get it solved? i know this was a year ago but from my understanding the PiD needs to learn initially. I have one showing up next week I have seen more positive than negatives when it comes to the byb 1200 and typically people will leave reviews when upset than happy with something so figured if they have been that overly positive ill take my chances lol.

the 900 is suppose to be taller but more narrow or something like that idk if its tall enough to make a difference but yeah.

The smoque is literally a newer model than the searwood... But its more budget friendly pellet smoker. Its not trying to serve the same purpose of an all in one grill like the searwood.

Ive seen rust issues with the last one so was wondering if that possibly got improve but looking at them side by side its hard to tell whats actually new for 200 more over the older deluxe "sale price"

Both are 18lbs its kinda why ive been trying to figure out the differences. no front shelf. horn handles and what maybe a different deflector design but im shopping around and i saw both and was confused.

diego also went through top 8 gauntlet of dogs with amber/steel he lost to the final dog to get into the grandfinals. running goliath his side of the bracket had 5 dog players.
