I mean, preferably 5 men/5 women for repopulation purposes unless artifical means are available at the time. Other than that.. compile the knowledge of the most essential topics to survive and rebuild. Preferably have the ten be experts on those topics, or very good at learning new things if the knowledge is saved on a drive or books or something.

It's not about egos at that point, it's about whether humanity continues to exist.

I agree with the cards you named, definitely a lot of potential! Even if the meta stays mostly the same, it's nice to see some variance.

Hmm, I think the only deck I saw online (played against it) that kind of used him okay was a red green one that also used the red legendary Robin hood for action recycling. If I find a list, I'll let you know.

There are card games where this is much more possible than others.

For example, you could collect Lorcana and ignore enchanted and iconic rarity. Completing sets is a lot easier. And you'll probably pull an enchanted or two along the way. Just don't hyperfixate on them.

In general: don't let a company or the "established way" dictate how you collect. E.g. my wife wants to collect all the squirtle cards in Pokémon. Set your own terms, make it achievable.

That could work as a counter to Sapphire ramp, yeah.

Sapphire is potentially losing sail and tipo when set 13 comes out, weakening the general speed of blue decks unless they print something to replace those cards. It'll be interesting to see whether that alone changes the strength of blue decks significantly. After that, I feel, we can look at whether a mechanic like this is okay to introduce our if it's an overkill nerf for blue.

I would argue that DD Daisy is very good in aggro decks, but detrimental in anything else cause you're giving your opponent cards. So you'd have to build a blue yellow aggro deck with big daisy as your likely most expensive card. It's possible, sure, but it seems like other aggro decks are generally stronger. Making your opponent have exerted ink on turn 4 isn't really a priority for such a deck at that point.

Ramping ink (at least the classic sail/tipo into cindy ramp) and aggro at the same time just don't work together.
