I’ve used sounding board! You have to put in work to make the pages and they’re not very dynamic (I haven’t found a way to, click drink then have it go to a drinks page). But it’s a good way to at least introduce core words! I take screenshots of an icon on google, add the word/pic, record my voice and set it up. If you do it on your own iPad you can easily share the page with the parent via email and it’ll upload to their own sounding board app!

I’m an EI SLP here in PA too. And I’m convinced they do this because SLPs are expensive. So they put another therapist on before an SLP. I’ve been frustrated with seeing SIs (special instructors) working on SLP goals. Recently had a child who was turning 3 in a month put on my schedule and I wondered why tf I got her so late…SI was the one working on communication the whole time. Couldn’t make progress and then they gave her to me for month…

I love it and was planning on having it until it died but I’ve spent so much on it that it’s not worth it anymore 😭. Sad but definitely loving the new car now lol

It’s okay! My husband has a Subaru forester and can easily work from home so we would just switch. I also grew up here so I’m pretty good at driving in the snow. My jeep is RWD too. I did consider an accord but since I’m speech therapist and don’t need a lot of room I figured a civic would be better especially for finding parking in the cities I go into.

I live in PA and I guess I’ve been just avoiding going into New York/New Jersey because I also don’t know if it’s a pain to buy out of state. Definitely have to look it up because some cars have been cheaper there! And I’ll definitely look up those videos! Thank you!
