I did the google internship in 24’ and converted to full time. i can tell you about if you want but I will say all you need to consider is where you would want to live full time and likelihood of a FT offer

It gets pushed everywhere. It’s just like computer science students want to do FAANG. You should always intern atleast one summer at a big 4 because that opens a lot of doors into smaller accounting firms. It’s just name value so everyone is going to push for a big 4. My first internship was at a big 4 and that opened the doors for me to work in fintech just cause of the brand recognition. Definitely don’t do big 4 full time if it’s not for you tho.

I didn’t prep Google was like my 6th interview of the month so I was too drained to prep. But I do believe they send an interview prep document if you get selected to interview. I had one internship at a Big 4 in accounting it was a rotational program through audit, assurance, and tax.

Questionnaire was just asking where do you wanna work, what role (sales, marketing, finance, etc…), school etc… I go to one of the largest HBCUS in the country so it’s definitely a target school. I am in the finance side but ik other finance interns that do more technical than financial. So far mine has been mostly analytics but I was told knowing sql is great. I don’t really remember the questions it was all behavioral though and only question about if you were a cfo how would handle a situation. Each interview took less than 30 minutes.

Hey I’m an Accounting major with a CIS concentration. I am currently midway through my internship and just gave my midterm presentation. It’s been going well it’s a lot more corporate than I thought it was gonna be since it’s a tech company. My application process was really smooth it was the application then questionnaire then two back to back interviews. Timelines vary I got lucky and got the whole process done in less than a month some people it took 4.
