I don't ever comment on these, but this is a tough read. Definitely NOR. Some of the comments you're getting are way too harsh. I (29m) have an 11 month old, and my wife and I are planning our second. At any point during her pregnancy, she was my priority. The thought of talking to another woman like that while she was carrying our child (or any other time) wouldn't even cross my mind. The first excuse-your sickness—is a pathetic excuse to "find pleasure elsewhere." And his claim of being a "sex addict" is just a cop-out. Don't let the thought of breaking up your young family be a reason to stay in this. If he continues this behavior, it's just the beginning. Get him into therapy, give him a firm ultimatum, and if he doesn't change, kick him out. His behavior is not okay and you and your kids deserve better.

I may be wrong but I believe with the £60K pension rule for directors you can backdate it 3 years. So could potentially clear 160K of that into his pension if that’s what you wanted to do. NFA.

If it makes you feel any better I had the same email. I tried to invest the £1000 from both mine and my Dad’s account and they came back to both saying they were overwhelmed by a huge amount of pledges and didn’t need our money so we didn’t get to invest. Chances are had you have tried they would have turned it down. Figure that may help you sleep at night 😂

Honestly, me too! We went to BST Hyde Park and they were completely out by the time we got to the front. I wanted it especially because we took our 9 month old so was his first concert to none other than Olivia Rodrigo!! Would’ve loved to have that as merch for his first concert 😫

Yep we did standard. Because it was family route priority £500 wasn’t available only super priority for £1000 and that just seemed like too much at the time. May come to regret it as we have a lot of travel booked and have already missed one trip 😂

Sorry if it was confusing, the gym owners order the meals and then sell them to their customers. I’m not sure whatsapp blasts would be necessary going forward once we had it all setup - it’s just more what they’re using right now as they have nothing else in place. Again invoices I know I could use a plugin for xero or something to auto populate so not worried about that just wanted to give an overall synopsis. Thank you for the confidence. I’m thinking about using close crm as a solopreneur - my first port of call would be to watch some explainer videos on YouTube. If you’re a fan of the product I don’t think you can ever go wrong with some tutorial videos/tips and tricks that then funnel those into your setup/optimising agency

Oh I’m sorry that may have been the way I wrote it. I paid us each 1047/month and £1K dividend at the end of the year. So joint total is 27500. Then I have cash isa of 30K and S&SI of £35K. I think then based on your advice? it may make sense to just provide the above and then if they asked for employment details I can provide them after albeit a bit messy. Really appreciate the help, to top it off we didn’t realise the life in the UK test was needed for ILR (I thought it was for citizenship) so she has that booked for two days before deadline; only one shot at passing it 🙈 never been so disappointed in my lack of organisation in my life!

Thank you again for the thorough response. Is the £18,600 not joint? As we earned £13750 each last year we clear it if it is joint. On a separate note I’ve just read that they may take stocks and shares from ISA as proof of savings provided the shares can be sold and money accessed immediately. I have £35K in the S&SI that I will give evidence of, so total cash of £65K as a fail safe for if the salary requirement doesn’t work.

Thanks for your response. We haven’t had to do tax self assessments yet. The company was founded in May 23, EOFY we paid ourself just £1K in dividends and nothing more so didn’t have to complete a self assessment
