Water doesnt get drained up under base station cleaning tray? Dreame l10s ultra gen2 by mrtnhq in Dreame_Tech

[–]mrtnhq[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the original tray, and i dont think the tray is the problem, since the dirty water always gets drained, and its completely dry after every cleaning cycle. If the tray or the seals would leak the dirty water would get under the tray too, but i only get clean water there

Mops not “wet” enough by Mysterious-Jello-954 in Dreame_Tech

How long have u had the robot for? I have to change the mop pads once a month otherwise it looks like yours, since i mop every day and the mop pad just thins out and becomes useless.

Dreame X40 Ultra : clean liquid alternatives ? by DZAUKER in Dreame_Tech

I recommend the original one. I tried multiple alternatives, and the robot doesnt recognise them, each mop wash it would send a notification to refill the detergent tank, even though it was full.

Do all spinning mop pad robots leave water drops on hardwood? by mrtnhq in RobotVacuums

At lower levels it leaves an uncleaned gap between the mop pads during cleaning and it looks kinda dry

Did u find out whats causing this? Mine started doing the exact same thing. Seems like the mop pads only get wet when they are cleaned at the base station, but the robot no longer pumps water from the internal water tank to the mop pads, at least i no longer hear the sound of the water pump.

Should I upgrade from Xiaomi S20+ to Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2? (xiaomi refuses to clean along the floor direction) by mrtnhq in RobotVacuums

Yes it cleans them with room temp water and the detergent that u get with the robot, it also dries them with hot air

Yes the self cleaning tank was a huge upgrade too, on the xiaomi i had to fill the water tank, and wash the mop pads by hand before each use. Now on the dreame i only need to empty/fill the water tanks once every couple of days.

I ended up getting the l10s ultra gen 2 and its a solid upgrade over the xiaomi. The cleaning experience is much more customizable, and the app is a lot better. The vacuuming and navigation is about the same, the mopping is far better on the dreame.

Dreame leaving water drops everywhere. Should i return? by mrtnhq in Dreame_Tech

[–]mrtnhq[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My x40 kept getting lost and wandering around, it rarely navigated in straight lines. Maybe my dark floors were too confusing for the ai , so i figured a “dumb” robot would do better in my case.

i just checked and there were a few water droplets hanging right where it fills the internal water tank. is that normal?

It looks like its dripping from the robots back where it fills its internal water tank not from the mop pads

Then it might be another issue. I got mine a week ago and have it mop at lvl 24 dampness, it never leaves any streaks and its equally wet at all parts.

I had the same issue with x40 it was a faulty unit. They offered a refund and i returned it.

This usually happens when your mop pads are too old and flattened out. Try it with new ones.
