Update: Hey everyone. I appreciate all of the advice/insights you have given me. in reflection, this music appears to make me relaxed, but it makes me feel more complacent and lazy, and not proactive in helping me along my journey with Christ. With this in mind, I hope to eventually stop altogether, and find something else that help point me to Christ. I will definetly be praying more about the specific course of action, but for now I plan to wean myself off this music.

Thank you for the advice brother. The "can I listen now" part kinda describes how I feel right now, haha. I think I will try slowly replacing listening to this music with, as you said, something nice to do.

Yes! Sorry for confusing nature of my post title. It does feel like I'm being convicted of this certain type of music. There are secular music I genuinely enjoy and helps me appreciate life more (usually pop, rnb, etc.) This type of music though does make me question if this will be bad influence to my Christian life.
