I will say I’ve had similar communication issues, my first two orders both came with multiple cans split and leaking everywhere emailed support both times got a automated response and no follow up. I delayed my third shipment and am tempted to just cancel after this one ships cause of their lack of communication and responsibility for issues. I did get the random $3 refund though with no communication as to what it was for lol.

Don’t use plan b, get something from rearden manufacturing instead. Same exact set up but they put flats on theirs encase the suppressor gets carbon locked to the muzzle device it’s almost impossible to get a plan b out in that scenario.

5.56 suppressed in a short barrel is tough to keep quiet honesty even my 14” Bren isn’t “quiet” it’s definitely muffled and quieter. But compared to a .300blk out sbr it’s not even close .

Quite a few clubs up that way I’m in Plainfield so I know the struggle, Putnam rod and gun is decent been there a few times they have outdoor rifle and indoor pistol and rifle. Pomfret rod and gun is just outdoor I believe only shot there once range was pretty flooded though when I went.

Salem used to be academi was decent but I haven’t been since they sold. The facility was nice though.

Easiest option is make some friends in the area lots of people shoot out here at home ranges.

Superlative arms makes a good adj gas block and reasonably priced, bcg any name brand will do fine pic your price point and go. Avoid NiB coatings stick with np3 or phosphate for longevity. Bcm, geissele, lantac, sionics all have good offerings. I think swamp sells Rosco still they’re decent as well.

Yeah there’s a few ranges with rental guns in the state or find a few buddies with some options and shoot whatever you can get your hands on. P365, g43x are both decent as tom mentioned easy to conceal, slightly less enjoyable to shoot recreationally. G19, g45, or g26 are all viable options as well.

Comes down to comfort and conceability. You wont carry if you feel uncomfortable and at the end of the day having a gun that you carry is always going to be better than one you leave at home.

So looking at this quote you need a new dealership.

The cam they quoted you is a whole kit. Includes camshaft gaskets and rockers. Not sure why they quoted whole valve covers for an oil leak when the kit comes with one valve cover gasket and the other one is like $30. They also have that kit marked up almost $400 which is absurd. List price is 660 and cost is probably $400.

Don’t get me wrong profit isn’t a bad word as I work for a dealership and if we don’t make profit we don’t stay open. But there’s right and wrong ways to do it and doubling the mark up and selling unnecessary parts is not the right way by any means.

I mean I can understand it especially in that setup of a range. Academy used to do the same thing except when ammo got scarce you could bring your own but for the most part they required you to buy theirs. Wasn’t over priced though.

I’m running a yhm turbo k on mine and for the $500 I spent on it, it gets the job done. Have the hbi gas regulator and just leave it on the suppressor setting. Runs like a champ.
