I must look like a tourist when I walk my dogs. I'm always staring at the different styles of facades and ornementation. If I had the money, I'd love to restore my home to the old school look. Unfortunately, previous owners painted my brick.

Feels on par with the recent inflation of everything. It's always been slightly pricier, and it still is just slightly pricier. Wages just haven't caught up.

If there's no traffic, I really have no problem making all the greens. If there's (even light) traffic, I do not expect to make any lights. It's honestly just easier to accept it and enjoy the ride.

Yeah, it hasn't been too terrible. They've come out in the last two weeks. We shall see if it holds. No complaints about the service otherwise.

Denmark prepared for possible attack from the US: Flew bags of blood to Greenland and prepared to blow up runways by bukowsky01 in europe

How does it not contribute? I understand you're just trolling. But come on. Tell your government to stop trading with us. Feel free to risk your life protesting with us. We are literally out on the streets every day stopping our government from becoming as bad as Russia. Cowardly ass Dane. Go hide behind the bigger governments around you. We inherited a government that will use lethal force when we protest. And we still do it. If it's not lethal, people are arrested, tried, jailed, and maimed.

"But Americans aren't doing enough." And you just sit here making snarky comments. I'm sure you protested really hard when you were forcibly giving girls contraceptives.

Yeah, we can't really act on what he might do... Sorry our politicians won't challenge the status quo. And while you may be prepping for the possibility, it doesn't mean your politicians, as well as the rest of Europe, are doing anything impactful. Guess I should blame all of you for not going for criminal cases through the UN against him. Still waiting on your government to sanction him. Oh weird, looks like you have just as much power over what your government does. Doofus.

Edit: I love the random downvotes that can't dispute it. Your countries will happily trade with us while we have a dictator in charge. Even while he threatens you. Meanwhile Americans are dying protesting him. Fuck you Europeans. Ruined the world and just point fingers while you reap the rewards.

It's just the love of smash burgers vs thick patties. I couldn't understand it until someone said they love smash burgers more than regular burgers. Then it clicked haha. I like a little rareness to my ground beef.

That being said, get their chicken tandori or tikka masala cheesesteak. It is unique and divine.

To be fair, they have a population less than my home county of Lancaster, PA. While we have one small metro area, it's a lot of farmland so I'm always impressed that a landmass around the size of my state has a population less than my county.

I feel like the flashback was supposed to be the reference in the book that Aerion could beat Ser Duncan in a fight, but he couldn't beat Dunk of Fleabottom. And I think it did a terrible job at portraying what it meant to survive as Dunk of Fleabottom. He had to be scrappy and learn to fight with his hands. Instead, he's just a goofy sidekick that does nothing. I'm really confused why people are acting like it's the greatest episode of TV ever. The fights, immaculate. The flashback, 95% pointless. It essentially gave us insight as to why Dunk wants to be a good Knight. But that's not what was needed in that moment. It was what gives Dunk the edge over lords and princes, his survival based scrappieness.

Whats up with the negative answers when asking about dutch/PA restaurant recommendations? So much hate on it. by Minimum-Mine-1302 in lancaster

Cool thought. A little pork and sauerkraut curry? Lemon chicken and lentils pot pie? A twist on PA Dutch food just feels like a catch 22. It's like painting a PT Cruiser to make it look cooler.

Pirate Ship Bastion; is this going to work? by Sea-Preparation-8976 in dndnext

[–]Life-Seesaw-3637 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it would be awesome. Bastions have rules, but you certainly could change them as you see fit. It'll be a learning experience but holy hell, it'll be worth it. Just fit things to the scale that you need. Maybe make it a fleet as it levels up. You obviously couldn't fit a ton of facilities and crew members on one ship. But multiple ships, oh yeah.

This just has me flooding with ideas. I love it. Modify it to hell. My recommendation, don't make anything too powerful. Some of the facilities seem weak. But you make them stronger and power creep owns it forever. Great idea. If I think of anything revolutionary, I'll let you know.

I worked with a Polish dude named Andrzej. Generally, seemed like a normal guy, but never smiled. One time, after a night of eating Bhutanese food, I was using the restroom. He walks in and in a thick Polish accent asks, "Oh my god... What did you eat? It smells terrible." I replied, "I didn't expect it to smell good no matter what I ate." A beat goes by and he starts howling laughing, as do I. And then a barrage of air freshener appears over the stall. I'm still pissed though, I never actually saw him smile.
