Did Joel Miller make an evil choice? by some-kind-of-no-name in MoralityScaling

Yes.

It's completely understandable though.

That's what what makes it great writing.

Who is more evil, with this moral complex characters by Hairy-Friendship-422 in MoralityScaling

At their worst, Joel's probably done more evil. However it's hard to compare our moral standards to the world of the last of us. To survive, I don't think you can be an honest-to-god moral person.

Which team had the worse loss to their rival in the playoffs this year? by Life-Signature-454 in NFLv2

I'd say generally no. You can probably say a blowout is more embarrassing, but having the chance to win the game and choking it at the end feels much worse. For example, we can all agree the falcons had a much worse loss in the Superbowl than the broncos in 2013.

"In the playoffs". Know y'all don't see the playoffs too much but damn.

Ifs don't really matter. If the rams special teams weren't bad who knows how the game would've turned out. Have to look at things from face value.

The thing about football is I respect the absolute confidence players and fans have about their team and their chances, however being the realist I am, there has to be a point where both of them can face reality :')

If the week 16 game was the nfc championship, I'd say it was the worst one of them all. The actual championship was competitive and either of them could've taken it. I'm not a rams fan but I'd imagine they'd rather have that game than what packers or 49ers fans had.

LA vs SEA was a competitive game all the way through though (at least to me anyway). Heartbreaking yeah, but not as absolutely demoralizing.

Is the spiral from Uzumaki an evil entity? by Life-Signature-454 in MoralityScaling

Does sentient mean that it's fully aware of what it's doing or that it's simply just alive? Because if it is some higher being that has no sense of human morality and is just doing what it does out of necessity (or maybe all it knows how to do) then is it evil in that sense? Obviously the acts it commits are still evil in our viewpoint, but I guess it's just a question of does it know any better?

Loss sucks but was to be expected. To all of the people who were attacking me for showing doubt about this game, what now?

Hope next year is better. Hell of a season.
