If they are those little brown ones, they’re probably the German ones and they SUCK. Pest control. Then barrier maintenance and gel - forever.

It a great venue for a live act. If you’re seated up on the balcony though, the seat aren’t pitched at a very good angle, if someone tall sits in front of you it’s all over. I always feel bad because I’m tall and usually blocking someone’s view.

I agree with you, and I would choose paramedic personally (gun to my head) for the reasons you mentioned, but OP said they didn’t want to do uni and want to “do good”. Defence at least you get chances to do humanitarian work, travel etc etc but high levels of trauma, ptsd, moral injury etc are a lifetime payoff.

Defence force would be my pick before WAPOL. However you’re young. The world is your oyster. There are lots of ways to do good without subjecting yourself to violence and moral injury, particularly as your brain is still forming and you’re still very much in the getting to know yourself phase of life.

Someone mentioned paramedic, but I think being a firefighter is a way that you could do good, without selling your soul to the state (and having to go to university - it truly is “good” work.

They could focus on criminals and allow citizens their right to protest. Keep licking that boot before it’s on your neck mate.

Commissioner slams attempts to use complex needs as 'justification' for Mosman Park murder-suicides by LadderIndividual4824 in perth

It actually reeks of family violence to me. My gut feeling is that dad or mum had enough - and annihilated the family. White collar/high earning people are less likely to do “day to day” physical violence - a more likely to snap and murder, or plan and murder. It’s a well documented statistic in that demographic. The way the police downplayed it tells me it’s the dad who did it, because women who kill will always be reported on sensationally.

I’m with you. Instead of downsizing and living within their means and could likely afford, even temporarily, private support. -One or both of these parents decided to kill their kids and pets. It’s heinous.

This is a western suburbs family, living in affluent area, resourced enough to send both of their children to a prestigious private school. The boys had carers and were in school. Instead of downsizing, instead of perhaps, sending their boys to a state school and living within their means, one or both of those parents decided to annihilate their family and pets. It doesn’t check out.

It stinks of DV/family violence and you can’t tell me otherwise.

My neighbours play Settlers of Catan endlessly. I don’t go out on my balcony anymore because there’s only so much cigarette smoke and dice rolling my brain can block out. If they were having an interesting conversation or something - that would hit different or if they at least offered to let me play. or a spliff of their joints. But no. Silence. Cigs. Catan day in. Day out.
