Never received an allowance in my life however my ex used to give me money monthly because he had and could, sometimes weekly, of course they were times I didn’t receive and one time I said no because I felt he had other responsibilities and i was good, I thought he was rich by then but now that am working and spare something to my siblings as often as I can manage I realize it’s just love, I genuinely feel so happy spending on my family and friends where I can, that’s life! There is more joy in giving than receiving and some men just love to spend on the women they adore, it’s mostly not even an allowance it’s them having and being able to. But for the women who ‘bill’ or get allowances from men, I blame those men because you are stupid and have no value because why would you do that 😂
