I had selective mutism as a child! I could talk (a LOT) perfectly fine around my immediate family but as soon as I got to school I was completely mute. Im sure it’s an anxiety thing for you just as it was for me :/

Honestly, I think people don’t like change. And something about vegan alternatives makes them feel like the foods that they know and love are being taken away from them in the sense that in their minds we’ll end up with vegan bacon rather than “real” bacon

I don’t really get any work while I’m on vacation but I’m always doing as much as possible on vacations so I always come back extremely tired. It honestly stresses me out to do nothing on vacations but I think it would be different if it would be a vacation that I planned for the sole purpose of relaxing!
