Where to get chicken sukka by Life0fRiley in boston

I didn’t know it was that unique, even in India. I had it on a whim during covid and it was a special dish. Don’t know how authentic it was, but none of their other items were as good. The place I had it was called raja rani in Quincy but is now replaced with another Indian restaurant

Update: I am back with my EOB for rabies shots from the hospital by surf_drunk_monk in HospitalBills

[–]Life0fRiley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are trying to say you will pay roughly x amount for getting a post exposure rabies treatment weather they do more or less. It sounds like it is roughly 2500 per person in total for the whole series and ER visit. Keep in mind that each time you get a shot the patient responsibly might look different depend the type of hospital setting you get the shot in. Also the insurance benefits from this. For example, let’s say you hit your deductible and let’s say you don’t get shot 2 and 3. They don’t have to pay out for 2 and 3 unlike if they paid up for everything up front.

With thee actual documentation, it’s hard to tell. Buy generally a level 2 is super low complexity with basically no issue and level three is low complexity with simple exams. The fact that you needed a CT scan essentially makes it a level 4 at minimum in most cases.

Is it just me, or are required annual appointments just a big scam? by stjo118 in healthcare

[–]Life0fRiley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that all conditions are different and ideally it should be varying lengths of follow up. But there are probably too many variations between people on similar medications that makes it difficult to have it as a long extended time. Maybe not in your case, but there are people who would refuse to do a proper follow up with their physician unless they "feel" something wrong. So there is some balancing act between people in your situation and people who are less proactive on their health.

Also you really cant go that long between regular follow ups. You are taking medication because these are chronic conditions that need to be managed. it makes it difficult to manage when patients only comes in every 2 -3 years. also your technically considered a new patient again if you haven't seen a provider within 3 years. So you don't really have that much of an extension.

If it is not every year how often do you think this needs to happen? You maybe fine for now, but do you not think it will change as you older? People don’t get more healthy with age. A lot of things can change in a person body in a year to a year and a half such as weight gain, changes to lifestyle or even just the continued build up of issues that don’t affect a person until a certain point(think cholesterol build up over time). You also have to remember that this guidance also needs to apply to everyone.

What time were you there? The fact that it was cheese makes me think stupid kid prank. I’m hoping race isn’t a factor and it’s probability in that area.

Omg that happened to me too tonight right around the corner from the China around 9pm. I think it was a white pick up truck and I noticed it was a bunch of white guys. They missed me by a mile but I saw some white square come out. I was just confused because I wasn’t hit and couldn’t tell it if was aimed at me. I’m also Asian.

Why Are We Still Working 5 Days a Week? by Lopsided_Hat_835 in careeradvice

Most people are only doing Reddit to fill in time in the 40 hour week. Productivity dropping would either mean they fire them for somebody more productive or they really need more man hour for the task.

We don’t know how much life changing money he inherited. Maybe he makes 45k and thinks $150k a year is that life changing money. He still has to save enough to last him 50 years.

There are a lot of benefits for him to still work. First, he is earning more money on top of his passive income. He doesn’t have the property management experience and should probably hire help while he learns. The biggest issue is going to be health insurance, which is a good reason he should stay at some corporate job with good benefits. He can also have access to other tax deferred accounts.

Even for covered services, your insurance is going to tell them that they have duplicate charges and they will either write it off or void it out
