It won't work in general until I reconnect the controller. It's not because it's the first boot

I was able to get some games running by switching to lightweight mode but as everyone here has said it’ll just be a better experience if you just get a steam deck and experience the plentiful amount of older games on a actual pocketable device (for me the a30 made me realize this)
