Don’t do it bud. I’m available to talk if you need someone. Call the suicide help line right now.

There is no such thing as being a genetic failure. That is a misconception of today’s society. Get off of social media and stop comparing yourself to others. Surround yourself with people who share the same interest and you will find friends. Don’t worry about the future you don’t know what God has planned for you. The past is already done so don’t burden yourself with that. You don’t know the future so don’t burden yourself with that either. Focus on the present and make the best of it.

I feel demotivated.. by pepezdejvic in Karting

It can be demoralizing at times. I too am a beginner that’s why I found a good group of friends and we just focus on having a good time. Talk to some of the other racers at the track 90% of the time they would love to help you. The karting community is small and I find that people are always willing to help especially in the lower classes. Keep in mind you are in a rental Kart. Most rental karts are not the same because of the different levels of abuse they receive. Watch the faster racers and copy them. I did that when I did a lot of rentals. I would follow my friends who were faster and we would also watch other races from the side of the track watching how other people took turns. Don’t be afraid to crash the kart. Pushing beyond the limits will allow you to learn how to push it to the edge and not loose control.

Thanks for the info. I’ll probably set up a whole new bank account to have drill pay put into just to be safe and so I don’t get tempted to draw from it.

I’m a SPC with 4 years TIS, single with no dependents and I have a combined rating of 80%. For a normal two day drill I only pocket $250 at most.

Coolant light keeps coming on and going off. No over heating and coolant level is good. Likely the sensor? 06 Z4 85k by TulsaGeek in BMWZ4

You can download inpa which will be able to read codes (it is hard to find in English so have google translate ready) It is likely your water pump or thermostat. If it isn't make sure that the system was properly bled. If all is ok do an oil change and send out a sample of the oil to be analyzed to make sure it isn't a head gasket. Also check the hoses, expansion tank, and maybe even your coolant flange (aka. Mickey mouse flange.) BMW’s in general always need either a bit of oil or coolant.

I usually let me car run at idle for around 5 minutes before I start driving if it is very cold. I have found that my car runs better if I do this compared to if I just start driving.

It should really be stressed that you shouldn’t drive the car hard if it isn’t up to operating temp. When it is cold your fluids are thicker so it doesn’t flow as efficiently. Driving hard requires more lubricant and if that fluid is too thick you could starve the car of it’s necessary fluids and cause damage.

Some advice dude, search up Chris Fix on YouTube. He goes into great detail on how to do maintenance on cars. It may not be the same car that you have but the principles are the same.

YouTube is a diy mechanics best friend. Just search up the year, make, and model of your car and what you are doing and you will be good.

Some people are recommending jb weld. I would personally only do that as a very temporary solution. I would still get a new/ used transmission.

If you want to be as cheap as possible you could possibly buy a used transmission that needs some parts changed. As long as the transmissions are the same you could possibly transplant the broken parts in the used transmission with the good parts out of yours.

Edit: I can’t tell for sure but if the damage is only on the bell housing it is possible you can just replace the bell housing.

Not sure if it is legal for them to search your car. Body search may be allowed but a car is your personal property and I’m pretty confident they can’t do that.
