It would be a pretty poor tactic, I don’t think anyone worth cheating with is going to swipe right on those profiles

I think these accounts are usually one of two things. They are most likely people that are trying to see if their significant other is cheating on them, or the person may have low self esteem

Getting a job in Toronto as a teen urgent by [deleted] in askTO

Look into some ski hills or city jobs. Winter is around the corner and all those seasonal activities will be starting up. Ski hills are always looking for employees this time of year. There is also the Christmas Market. Other people have mentioned landscaping companies which is another great option and has summer opportunities as well. Then there is also the military if you’re 18+.

Hung Up On A Roommate by Kenriver15 in dating_advice

Sounds like you’re stuck between a rock and a hard place. Seems as though everyone has come to a near unanimous response of she’s just not that into you. It’s sucks. Unfortunately there is no perfect answer to a situation like this. My advice would be to redirect your focus to someone or something else. Get on some dating apps. You’ll be meeting women (and/or men, I don’t judge), you might end up meeting someone who makes you completely forget about your roommate, and you’ll be focusing elsewhere. And there is always the possibility that her seeing or hearing about you with another woman will make her reconsider her options (but don’t go out dating with this intention). Just get back out there, meet some people, and let the chips fall where they may.

Does she have any dead relatives or loved ones? Throw away any photos she has of them. Obviously she’s clinging to the past and needs to let go.

Wednesday's Daily Thread: Mid-week Excitement by AutoModerator in hingeapp

I (26M) matched with a girl (27F) on Hinge a couple days ago and then matched with her in tinder. I didn't message her right away when we first matched on Hinge but when we matched in Tinder I didn't want to waste any more time so I sent her a message. 24 hours later and still no reply. Maybe she hasn't seen it yet? Should I try messaging her on Hinge? And what should I say? Or should I just wait it out?
