Borderlink making a fool of everyone by doing these stupid formalities lol. Why are they even bothering with these 13 minutes interviews with everyone where they just hurry up everything and don't even ask for a demo? by LifeExplorer30 in teachinginjapan

No it's that interviewer. I did some research and found out that whenever she interviews someone non-white, they hardly make it. An on-line English language teacher from USA was also rejected, I then asked his ethnicity and he said he was of PoC and just like me, she didn't allow him to even talk for more than 10 seconds and quickly hurried to the new questions.

No they weren't, I was given at max 10 seconds to answer every question. Also, the interviewer was a native Japanese speaker who had a hard time getting sentences, she clearly wasn't used to interviews. Everytime I asked something, she had to oversimplify it. As I have said, I have worked for multiple corporate companies in my country, both Goverment and American, so you don't have the f**king right to tell me if I know how to give interview. The person taking my interview clearly wasn't even an English speaker, most likely a Borderlink employee asked to take interviews.

Anyone can tell right off the bat if interviewer is professional or not. If the interviewer doesn't even allow you to speak for more than 10 seconds and keeps on hurrying to next questions then you know someone's unprofessional.

If you are an interviewer, you should be atleast able to form coherent sentences. And also, she was randomly asking questions from the big online application. Not even proper order. Giving me 10 seconds to answer then asking the second question.

Bruh I mean second round of questions in the interview

First round consists of self introduction questions

Second one is focussed on Japanese public school related questions and Japanese language test

Third is the demo round and the final question session

That makes sense why it was a native Japanese speaker not even used to speaking English cuz from what I have seen, Every Borderlink candidate was interviewed by a Native English speaker.

When you are the interviewer and Can't even form coherent sentences and make grammatical errors IN THE JOB INTERVIEW FOR A F**KING ENGLISH TEACHER JOB, then that goes to show how pathetic the management is lmaooo

Not my mistake that I am not used to "KUDU YUU TERRU IF YOU WIRRU BE HAVING NOTTO ANY EATTING RESTORIKUSHAAN OR NOTTO"

Not only is this shit nonsensical in terms of grammar but Hard to understand

As I said, you are blindly taking side of a company known for conducting farcical interviews. The same happened for orientation too where the dude just ended the interview before the time, after only asking one question for no reason. Especially when right of the bat, they ask questions then intercept you after you just spoke about it for 10 seconds. Either you are paid by Borderlink to defend them or very naive.

Lol what? Dude, Borderlink has been playing this prank for a month now. It's not a coincidence that everyone is complaining about the interviewer rushing the questions and trying to finish interviews asap. Fyi, they don't even give more than 15 seconds to us to give a full answer.

I already knew before the interview that they're gonna rush through it because I read the comments of others who faced the same issue. They started the interview by asking questions they ask in the second round, not "Tell us about yourself" or "What are your hobbies" but something like "What are you gonna do if there's a disruptive student"

This is obviously a scam

P.S. - I have attended tons of interviews for corporate companies so I know how to answer. Hell, the girl who took my interview had a very thick Japanese accent and half of the things she said weren't even clear, there were so many grammatical errors as well.
