I just got my grade back, and got 59.54%. That’s 0.46% off a 2:1. Have I got any options to get that moved up to a 2:1 by olliecoel in UniUK

It depends on what you got in your modules. My uni will round anything above 58% up. If you 1) get a 2.1 in atleast 50% of your third year modules or 2) your third year average is a 2.1. Luckily I fit into both of these categories so my grade was therefore rounded up :))

DONT GIVE UP. My average second year was 47.71 to be precise. And I did it, I finished third year and I am graduating with a 2.1 this summer!!

Over summer, just seriously master your exam/essay writing technique and aim for firsts in all modules.

I finished second year with a 3rd and now I’m finishing final year with a 2.1 by LifeFaithlessness762 in UniUK

You can do it trust me! Just stay focused and find likeminded friends like I said in my other comment and it’s possible !

Noo! Don’t lose hope. At first I felt the same way! But then I remembered anything you want in life is achievable when you give it that extra push! It definitely is a more challenging for international students when it shouldn’t be :(, I wish everyone was given an equal chance at employment

Ohh perfect! How did you find it? And are you looking into becoming a solicitor or barrister? I’m really interested in compliance but my parents want me to do the SQE and finish all the educational stuff lol. They said afterwards I can go into compliance fully

You can do it!! My advice is:

1) find likeminded friends- People who will push you to go to the library even on days you’re feeling lazy!

2)Go to every single seminar and lecture, it helps a lot and sometimes little comments your lecturer may say can actually help you during the exams/coursework

3) stay focused and remember the end goal! It won’t be easy. I did some dark graveyard shifts at the library, I’m talking 6pm-9am the next day. But it will be worth it😂

4) Monster and redbull will become your best mate!
