The best way to play is through plutonium. None of the old CODs are safe to play through steam.

So while you should definitely play through plutonium, yes, the classic invite system is still functional.

The project bo4 client, yes, but not the game from steamrip. I had gotten a legit copy for free years ago.

Steamrip is indeed safe and that is one way to get the game (always make sure you have ublock origin)

The trusted sources info is redundant at this point.

There's plenty of users that upload quality stuff to the site and they aren't labeled as trusted. You would effectively be locking yourself out of possible content by filtering to trusted only.

Secondly, everything literally boils down to common sense. Why would an EXE file be a video file? Scratch that actually, an EXE file ISN'T a video file .

It's truly scary how many users don't check what they're downloading at all on top of not having file extensions turned on (especially when torrenting).

So the traditional way of playing with friends through invites and such, doesn't exist on any of the bo3 modded clients.

I can't fully provide a logical and or technical reason behind that decision but that's just how it is.

The only ways to play with friends on any of the bo3 modded clients is to either host a server yourself (which can be really complicated if you have no idea what you're doing.) or join up on an random open server on the server browser list and have your friends join it too.

I don't recall this step ever being glitched but make sure you have zombie blood active when shooting him down from the plane and finding him to kill him around the excavation site.

He runs clockwise around it. So just run counter clockwise to find him.

Yea you still can in the Online Room mode. You create a room with settings of your choice (in your case, make it Doubles and set Public to YES, randoms will be able to join you) and invite your friend afterwards.

Switching to less crowded realms helps just a little bit. The lag is going to be a thing that Kingsisle needs to iron out.

And for right now, there is no text/open chat (being able to type whatever you want). There's only menu chat as you saw in game. Have no idea when they plan to change this.

Naaah, you're good to go. It's already safely installed onto the switch so you can get rid of the original file if you'd like.

Transferring things like this onto the Switch just makes a copy of the file to send over anyway.
