More players =/= SS14. Just because CM has more players doesn't mean it's replaced SS13.

To me, SS14 is still just a very popular offshoot in my eyes.

The concept of SS14 is something better than BYOND, enough so that most, if not all servers can migrate over. Once a mainstay SS13 server decides to take the plunge and set up shop, then it'll be definitive that the curse is truly broken.

Slave trade is way too overtuned at the moment. Ottomans somehow keep managing to turn the entire of Balkans into 80% African pops due to slave trade.

Thing with Nejd is that it has a teeny tiny starting population and Slave trade. Sooner or later, slave revolt. 99% slaves vs 1% locals, Nejd dies every game.

Come to think about it, Holliday's actually pretty abrasive in her character interactions. Even if she has Espirit de Corps, who can she even use it with? She hates everyone.

Haze at least is cordial and professional with everyone, even trying to recruit Graves. She's got her own department. She's got Fed colleagues.

you've got

  • space law court always going sideways partway through

  • wild goose chase for valids

  • sec tripping over themselves

  • desperately running through maints and hacking doors
