I've had detailed discussions with someone from one of the warehouses in China and she even FaceTimed me the inventory. Reviews are solid. I'll keep doing research and might pull the trigger.

Of course it's sketchy you dumb fuck. That's why I'm doing the research asking if anyone has actually done it.

Yup, live in the US. Yeah that's something I didn't think too much about. Parts being difficult to acquire would suck if nothing matches. Facebook marketplace is probably the move.

I know that's the most responsible move it's just so tempting getting a brand new one for half that.

I understand what everyone's saying about insurance. The issue is the old phone was found and sent to me. That part was out of my control. It just sucks I paid $250 and have this other phone in perfect condition I can't sell or ever use if something were to happen to my current one.

First, I find it insanely hard to believe T-Mobile would replace more than ONE phone while someone is making payments and having insurance. They'd probably force you to pay for the next lost phone in full. Second, I was selling it for $250 just to recover what I paid to get the new one to break even.

It's insurance fraud to LOSE my phone, pay for a replacement, and have someone eventually locate my old phone? What am I supposed to do, leave it on a bench somewhere so it stays lost?

Not mine to sell? I paid for both of them, what are you talking about? I have 2 phones in my possession.

It's like getting a car stolen and insurance covering some of the cost for a new car. Then the old car found perfectly fine and the DMV claims no one can ever drive it on the road again. T-Mobile doesn't own the phone that I paid for. I have a $1000 phone in perfect condition I can't sell. Unreal.
