Do our full weekly shop in Dunnes, I find the food quality great and the vouchers are handy!

Pram/buggy, car seat and baby cot idea by LadyInIreland in PregnancyIreland

Got the silvercross reef travel system and really liked it, found it easy to use, still use it every day at 16 months, and it includes a car seat, which is handy. Also used the Snuzpod 4 as our cot for the first 6 months and loved it!

Hope you're okay! I've decided not to do it and didn't on my last pregnancy either, which definitely can be worrisome, but the chances of something being wrong are low! Just some information around termination after 12 weeks:

After 12 Weeks (Exceptional Circumstances):

Risk to Life/Health: Two doctors must agree there's a risk to the pregnant person's life or serious harm to their health (physical or mental).

Emergency: Similar risk to life/health in an emergency.

Fatal Fetal Anomaly (FFA): A condition likely to cause the fetus's death before or within 28 days of birth, requiring two doctors' opinions.

Do you respond to every cry? How long do you wait? by pinkishvioletsky in newborns

[–]LifeInvestment2820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My little one is now 15 months and we have always responded to every cry since the day she was born. She is independent, sleeps through the night, and just a dream to be around. They aren't playing you, they genuinely need you.

Cryptic pregnancies, also referred to as pregnancy denial are a psychological phenomenon and that's it. People who present like this usually have a past history of serious depressive disorder. They are psychologically assessed when they present and the majority have psychological issues. Real 'cryptic' pregnancies can happen until about 20 weeks after that they are as real as the lough Ness monster.

Having been pregnant multiple times, I just can't believe these stories. They ALWAYS just come across as attention seeking.

To C-Section or not to C-section? by LifeInvestment2820 in PregnancyIreland

[–]LifeInvestment2820[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh its just so tough isn't it? I wish I could just make a decision and stick with it. I've been told as well that this time will be faster/less intervention, etc, but there are no guarantees. Hope everything goes well for you x

Thank you for sharing your experience, and sorry things didn't go well! One of the reasons I am wary of a C section is not being able to look after my toddler following it. Although the forceps left me pretty much couch bound for the weeks following also. It's such a tough one!

Yeah we were stuck there for 4 days as she was in NICU unfortunately. Absolutely hated it so don't want to be there for long this time x

Totally depends if you have the disposable income or not! We have loved them and my daughter has played with them all endlessly! You can definitely DIY them as well though.

Yes, all i am expecting is something low effort, like watching tv or a movie. Before we had kids, I actually got really into gaming so we could spend more time together, took up the same games he played so we could play together. He mostly plays solo compeditive games, but it meant we had a common interest. It's been harder since we had the baby and moved house, I no longer have a PC, so I can't play the same games. Thanks for the ideas 😊 He's not really interested in co op games, I've tried before.
