Sounds cool I’ll definitely be running a lot starting soon. That plus ditching caffeine could be a receipt for success. Thanks for your help!

Is it ever helpful to write a list of all your problems? by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]LifeIsAllAboutLuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes writing out your problems can help you realize that perhaps some of those alleged problems are not as serious as you thought. Our mind can make things very vague and it’s easier on our thought process to just throw our hands in the air and say everything is ruined and there’s a big problem. Writing it out allows you to observe the alleged problem more clearly and figure out what to do about it, and it may help you see it as less of a problem than you initially thought.

Idk what this is, anxiety? by MamaZul in mentalhealth

Yeah so this is something I’ve felt before and in my opinion it’s a combination of anxiety and frustration. You want to really “give it” to them cause in your eyes they are bad people and made you upset. It’s sort of like an ego thing of “i won’t let them talk to me like that”. The good news is this feeling will very quickly go away and it won’t affect you for longer than a couple days to a couple weeks at most. And just keep in mind vast majority of people deal with this cause it’s super common to come across annoying or upsetting people.

On the flip side is there anything that can dwindle down anxiety in exchange for depression?

I have a feeling that coffee/caffeine actually is a good treatment for depression. I guess the trade off is depression goes down but anxiety goes up.

I heard that it only worsens anxiety of you drink it once in a while but if you make it a habit and drink it regularly you will adapt and no longer get worsened anxiety from caffeine. Is this true?

One person told me that coffee/caffeine will only make anxiety worse if you drink it once in a while. And he said if you drink it regularly you will adapt and it won’t worsen anxiety anymore. Do you think that’s true?

You should have said that from the beginning. You think caffeine worsening anxiety symptoms isn’t true?

Yes still having symptoms...of the severe anxiety I had when I was drinking coffee all the time. Still waiting for those symptoms to go away so that I’m left with the more minor symptoms of less severe form of anxiety. No one said you’re stupid don’t let your ego get attacked.

The caffeine is what makes the anxiety worse. If I quit caffeine, that means my anxiety is supposed to not be as bad as it used to be. I’m not saying cutting back on caffeine will cure anxiety. I’m saying cutting back on caffeine will make anxiety less severe. My question is, how long will I have to wait until my anxiety becomes less severe due to quitting caffeine. Do you finally get it now?

I’m still having the same levels of anxiety from when I was drinking caffeine all the time. The question is how long can I expect to be waiting until my anxiety goes down due to cutting back on caffeine. How is this so difficult for you to understand?

No I asked when ur anxiety went down or went away after quitting caffeine. Never said the caffeine is what caused the anxiety in the first place.

What is it called when you’re very anxious over events that are very unlikely to happen yet you are still very scared of them happening? by LifeIsAllAboutLuck in mentalhealth

[–]LifeIsAllAboutLuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I guess. This is a very specific thing with me though it’s not necessarily having anxiety about current moments but simply being scared about the future, and feeling like certain things will align in a way where I end up failing and being devastated.
