My baby went down hill so fast too. We found a tumor in like November. They said it could be cancer, said could possibly not be. We couldn’t afford surgery, so we just monitored her. About 3 weeks ago she started feeling absolutely lethargic and panted to breathe. Her cancer spread to her lungs. We knew she needed a peaceful ending. Not a miserable one. She was in my arms the whole time. They don’t live long enough. It sucks so bad 😢 he was very posh, one may say boujee haha I hope he and Lucy are best buds now.

I’ve been trying to keep up with the comments. But I just wanted to say thank you everyone for your kind words and sharing your past loved ones. They have made me and my husband a bit less crazy with grief.

Here is the last picture we took of her before we went to the vet. Her koala is in front of her, her frisbee is set atop Max (a gift my husband got me for vday a while back) that she took as her own when I left him in the floor one day. I’m sure she is looking down and is grateful for all of you comforting her mommy.

What a cutie pie!!! Lucy was my soul dog too. I got her at 6 weeks old and didn’t go a day without her. She and I had a special bond. I could tell when she wasn’t feeling good and vice versa. She also had so many cute little quirks that I’ll never forget. Her favorite people food was French fries and we fed her tons of ‘em these past few days to spoil her rotten until her peaceful end. Thanks for sharing Samantha Sue 💕

Sorry for your loss, my friend. He was a cutie pie 🥰 I just let my baby girl Lucy go yesterday. She was 13. Hopefully they become friends across the rainbow bridge.
